TERMS & CONDITIONS

The Hobby Box

By registering for and bidding in any auction conducted by The Hobby Box, bidders agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between the bidder and The Hobby Box.

1. Acceptance of Terms

Placing a bid constitutes the bidder?s full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions. All bidders acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to all policies prior to bidding. The Hobby Box reserves the right to refuse service, reject bids, or ban any bidder at its sole discretion.

These Terms & Conditions represent the entire agreement governing the sale of all property offered. No oral or written statements outside of these terms shall modify or supersede them.

2. Binding Bids / All Sales Final

All bids are binding and irrevocable. By placing a bid, the bidder enters into a legally binding contract to purchase the lot if they are the winning bidder.

Bid retractions, cancellations, or refusal to complete payment for any reason ? including dissatisfaction with fees, shipping costs, or perceived value ? are not permitted.
All sales are final. No refunds, exchanges, or credits will be issued.

3. Buyer?s Responsibility & Inspection

All items are sold AS IS, WHERE IS, WITH ALL FAULTS. It is the bidder?s responsibility to determine the condition, authenticity, and suitability of each item prior to bidding.

Condition reports and descriptions are provided as a courtesy and represent opinions only. The absence of a condition report does not imply that an item is free from defects. Failure to inspect or request additional information prior to bidding constitutes a waiver of any claim or complaint.

4. Buyer?s Premium & Fees

A 9% Buyer?s Premium is added to the hammer price of each lot.

Additional fees may include:
? LiveAuctioneers platform fees
? Credit card processing fees (typically 3?3.5%)
? Autopay transaction fee ($0.50 + 1%)
? Applicable state and local sales tax
? Shipping & handling charges

All applicable fees are clearly disclosed prior to bidding and are accepted by the bidder at the time a bid is placed.

5. Payment & Autopay

This auction utilizes LiveAuctioneers Autopay. Winning bids will be automatically charged to the payment method on file shortly after the auction concludes.

Failure of Autopay, declined charges, or disputed payments do not relieve the bidder of their obligation to pay the full invoice, including all premiums, fees, taxes, and shipping.

6. Shipping & Handling

Shipping is provided by The Hobby Box and will be included on the invoice as follows:
? Domestic Shipping (U.S.):
$6.00 for the first lot, plus $0.35 per additional lot, capped at $15 total S&H.
? International Shipping:
$24.99 for the first lot, plus $0.50 per additional lot.

Shipping costs are calculated after the auction and included on the invoice. By bidding, the bidder agrees to all stated shipping terms and charges.

If address confirmation is required and the bidder fails to respond, the bidder remains fully liable for payment of the invoice.

7. Non-Payment

Failure to complete payment constitutes a breach of these Terms & Conditions.

In the event of non-payment:
? The invoice will remain due
? A non-payment strike may be applied to the bidder?s LiveAuctioneers account
? The Hobby Box reserves the right to report the bidder to LiveAuctioneers
? The bidder may be banned from future auctions
? Items may be relisted at the seller?s discretion

8. Abandoned Property

Items not claimed or paid for within 30 days of auction close may be deemed abandoned and may be resold without further notice. The bidder remains liable for any outstanding balance.

9. Estimates & Reserves

Pre-sale estimates are provided as guides only and may not reflect final hammer prices. The Hobby Box reserves the right to set, modify, or remove reserves at any time prior to sale.

10. Warranties & Disclaimers

The Hobby Box makes no warranties or guarantees, express or implied, regarding any lot. No statement made by The Hobby Box or its representatives shall be deemed a warranty or assumption of liability.

11. Sales Tax

Buyers are responsible for all applicable state and local sales tax unless a valid resale or exemption certificate is provided prior to invoicing.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York. All bidders consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of state and federal courts located in Putnam County, New York.
