An Extraordinary Lifetime Collection of Rare & Historic Wax Seals of Prof. Weiber Palmers Auction Co is honored to have been entrusted with the estate of Mr. Weiber. Born in Germany in 1928, Mr. Weiber migrated to the U.S. in 1955, bringing with him a dedication to science, art, and history. As a distinguished Professor of Physics at the University of Rochester and later a vital team member at the Eastman School of Music?focusing on translation for opera singers?Mr. Weiber combined analytical precision with artistic appreciation. Additionally, he lent his expertise to the U.S. military as a consultant on physics. His interest in foreign languages and history was piqued by wax seals, and he bought many collections and museums. This is Part 1 of what we believe to be one of the finest collections in existence.
