Our client is a star of stage and screen who filled his much loved weekend house in Canaan with treasures saved from his Manhattan and Hollywood residences.   Lots of fun and well kept items with an emphasis on Hollywood glamor and Deco fun with a smattering of primitives for good measure.

The snow storm is slowing our progress in sharing photos of all that is in this house.  Please check back throughout the week.

Some items will not be available for pick up until Thursday February 21 as they are currently housed in a loft space where they are priced accordingly for this inconvenience and they will be clearly marked.

As always, we try to price items at a fair "priced to move" price.  Most items are half price on the second day. During the first day of the sale, for items with an original asking price of $50 or more, we allow a silent auction by soliciting written offers above 50% of asking price which we process at the end of the first day.  Highest bid wins and the item is marked sold before the half price period begins. 

There are a very few items in this sale that our client is ambivalent about parting with for which we are encouraging bids at any level which our client may or may not accept.
