ESTATE OF ROSS AND LANGLEY KENZIE IN DERBY (BUFFALO AREA)

Welcome to 6975 Sweetland Road where you are surrounded by one hundred acres of gorgeous fall foliage. This became Ross and Langley’s peaceful sanctuary nestled by the shores of Lake Erie. The property became the annual home of hundreds of Purple Martins. As one of the biggest colonies in the northeast, the Purple Martin Society would come every summer to band the baby Martins-to help track movement, lifespan and to provide invaluable data about these amazing birds who would travel to Brazil every Winter and return every Spring. Ross Kenzie was a former Chairman of Goldome and a civic leader in the Buffalo community for many years. Langley was an artist specializing in photography, hooked rugs and sculpture.
