Terms & Conditions:
All Bidders are should read our Polices and must properly register to bid in our auctions, whether it is in person, by phone if allowed, by completing an Absentee Bid form or leaving an absentee bid by calling us. By bidding you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and related policies.
Registration: All Bidders must register with their Name, Permanent Street Address (no P.O. Boxes), telephone number(s), email address prior to the auction. A Bidder (unless known to us) must present a valid drivers license. Any Absentee Bid by a Bidder will require a valid Credit Card and items must be viewed in person first. Our firm reserves the right to bar any registrant. Absentee Bidding may be provided via left bids, email, limited telephone bidding – unless otherwise stated no phone bidding. Absentee Bids: Registration for Absentee Bids should be done in a timely manner at least 8 hours before time of auction. All absentee bids are executed competitively. Phone Bids will be accommodated based on staffing availability. Absentee Bids must be paid within 5 days of auction. Bank or Cashiers check is preferable, but credit card is fine. Absentee Bids will be executed competitively by this firm. This process is a matter of convenience to customers and therefore this firm is not responsible for errors in execution or failure to execute bids. Buyers Premiums: The final purchase price paid by a successful bidder will be the sum of the final bid and a Buyers Premium. Buyers Premium which are posted depends on how the bidder is participating in the auction. This is reflective if the bidder is attending Live or using on-line platforms, such as Live Auctioneers. Attending auction or Left Bid with prior inspection Premiums are: 17% Buyers Premium for Cash or Good Check with a 3% added fee to the total if using a Credit Card – Live Auctioneers (on line bidding) Premium is posted on their site. Other charges will also be included like Sales Tax, Shipping, Credit Card Fees, etc. Item Descriptions: All items have been described to the best ability for accurately, but the responsibility for condition and authenticity is Solely on the Bidder. Payment: If using Live Auctioneers, their system will collect money from a bidders purchase(s) when creating an invoice. Their system uses AutoPay to automatically collect from the credit card registered that the bidder has on file with them. Bidders must register a valid credit card with Live Auctioneers to pay for their invoice. Payment for Firearms in Auction beyond 1898 date: This is the only time Live Auctioneers will not collect money, nor allow bidders to pay using their system (Autopay). When this occurs, our auction company must be paid directly (see Payment Notice). We will send a link for online credit card payment for your Live Auctioneers invoice (No PayPal). Credit Card payments are only accepted from the buyers name listed on the invoice. If payment is with a check, please ensure your Live Auctioneers invoice number is in the memo field of the invoice (see Payment Notice). We reserve the right to hold the item(s) purchased until check clears. A successful bid (purchase price) will include: Hammer Price, Applicable Buyers Premium and NY State Sales Tax, Credit Card fees if applicable. All Sales are Final and sold AS IS with No Refunds. NY State Dealers & Out-of-State Dealers are required to properly register with this firm with a valid tax number and business information. Shipping: Bidders are required to read our Shipping Policy. This auction firm does not provide in-house shipping, unless otherwise stated. This auction firm provides a list of reputable shippers in our Shipping Policy. For bidders choosing to use the local UPS Store in East Greenbush, NY – you must advise us of your plans referencing your name and Invoice # and we will bring your item(s) to The UPS Store after your invoice is paid in full. Bidders are free to use any third party shipper they choose. Successful bidders are fully responsible for removal of items purchased, including any shipping and insurance related costs and arrangements. Any items left at our facility over 10 days may be subject to storage fees at $8 per day up to 30 days, after 30 days it will be considered abandoned and it becomes the property of the auction firm unless prior approved terms are established. Firearms/FFL: All bidders are required to read the FFL Policy in full and are bound to the terms within. If this auction has antique firearms, bidders are to comply with their State laws as well as FFL laws and regulations which we will follow with our FFL Representative and refer to our FFL Policy. Do not bid if you cannot comply with all these regulations or laws. WE reserve the right to deny the sale of a firearm to any buyer, for any reason, at any time in the sales process.
