AS IS- all property is sold as is without representation or warranties by TA or the consignor, express or implied, as to the correctness of the catalogue or other description of the authenticity, size, rarity, quality, medium, frame, period date, age, exhibitions, importance of provenance, literature or historical significance or relevance, attribution, fitness for particular purpose and no statement anywhere, whether oral or written, whether made in the catalog, sales room posting or announcement, invoice, condition report or elsewhere, shall be deemed such a warranty, representation or assumption of liability.
While TA is not obligated to provide a condition report, condition reports for most lots can be found online on both the TA website (treadwellauctions.com) and bidding platform (liveauctioneers.com). Potential bidders are encouraged to contact TA for additional condition information on any lot. TA does not warrant the condition of any lot.
The absence of a condition report does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from imperfections, wear or effects of aging. Condition reports provided as a courtesy by TA, whether online or at a person's request are based on a visual inspection and for guidance only.
