Sweet & Company will be in the Village of Gowanda, NY this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, for an incredible multi-generational, multi-faceted estate sale! We will be in the home and nearby office of a longtime local attorney. This sale includes wonderful collections of Arts and Crafts and East Lake antiques, militaria, advertising, ephemera, and much more!
Included in the sale is a set of Arts and Crafts bronze andirons and fireplace tools, a circa 1880s-1890s Brunswick ‘Chicago’ pool table and an Eastlake Brunswick wall mount cue holder, a Stickley era Arts and Crafts arm chair, an Eastlake tall bookcase with glass doors, Eastlake/ Victorian chests and tables, a magnificent quarter-sawn oak carved claw foot pedestal dining table, a large J. P. Coats spool cabinet, an Ampico baby grand piano, antique clocks including a Tiffany Never Wind, great vintage signs and other collectible advertising, great local and travel ephemera, antique photographs and postcards, pocket watches, vintage kitchenwares including Pyrex, yellow ware mixing bowls, cast iron, etc., a like-new Speed Queen washer and dryer, a white Whirlpool French door fridge, a huge library with many older books, a large collection of vintage Buffalo Bills, Sabres, Braves and other sports memorabilia, loads of vintage magazines including Sports Illustrated, Rollingstone, Life, and more, many pieces of military collectibles including medals, uniforms, jumpsuits, and patches, an early dress form, sewing notions, vintage Christmas decor, Syracuse University memorabilia, TONS of vintage board games, a vintage pinball machine, typewriters, trunks, and so much more!
Around the corner (a block away) from the main house is the law office that will also be open as part of the sale.
