We are selling the contents of two homes on Old Quaker Lane (off of South Quaker Lane) in Hyde Park this weekend! The first is a cottage built in 1952 and the second is a ranch built in 1978. They were owned by the same family. The homes have been vacant since October of 2014. Both homes are FULL of merchandise! Boxes and boxes of treasures waiting to be found! The cottage is filled with mid-century maple furnishings and has an attic yet to be fully investigated by us! No electric or running water in this home however due to burst pipes in the winter of 2014-2015. The attic is perfectly dry and filled with Karastan rugs, military uniforms, depression glass, and other goodies as shown in our photos. The ranch has electric but no running water. Filled with vintage clothing and accessories, costume jewelry, lighting, glassware, furnishings, and other fun stuff! The decedent was a lover of antiques, garage sales and flea markets and we've seen the boxes and boxes to prove it!!

We will begin the sale at the southern most home at 9am and then open the house to the north at 11am. Plan to attend and spend time rummaging through drawers and boxes. Bring FLASHLIGHTS, GLOVES, MASKS and BOXES!! We will have some on hand for the unprepared! There is DUST, Spider Webs, and MOLD!

NOTHING will be PRICED in the two homes! Not enough time to complete such a task! Everything will be reasonable as you all know I am more than fair in my pricing!!

ALSO FOR SALE is a CAR at each home!! The cottage has a FORD Taurus parked in the driveway! The ranch has a 1987 Chevy Celebrity parked on its lawn! The Chevy has been garaged and only has 40+ thousand miles on it! We got it started and the interior is clean as a whistle! The Ford was driven more often but not since 2012 and has some tire issues as shown in the photos!!
