For over a month now, Sweet & Company has been busy preparing for the largest sale we’ve conducted in recent history…or not so recent history, and we are very pleased to share it with you. We will be in Lewiston, New York, Friday October 25th, Saturday October 26th, and Sunday October 27th from 10am-4pm offering fine jewelry, an incredible camera collection, and a unique home filled with a variety of great finds. 

Fine jewelry to include a LeCoultre platinum and canary diamond ladies watch, Patek Phillipe watches, diamond rings, gold chains and charm bracelets, gold and enamel pins, as well as some better signed costume pieces. There is also sterling hollowware and flatware including 88 pieces of Towle Old Master and a pair of Gorham sterling candelabras. Also included in the sale is a large coin collection including Morgan silver dollars, Peace dollars, half dollars, proof sets, and more.

Special Interest: Extensive camera collection including a Bolex Paillard H16 Reflex cine camera with P. Angenieux f12-120mm lens, an Arriflex 16 mm cine camera, as well as over twenty Leicas including a Leica II 1932, Leica IIIa 1936, Leica IIIc 1946-47, Leica M3 1960, Leica IIIa 1938, Leica M4 1967, Leica M3 1955, Leica M3 1963, Leicaflex 1965, Leica R3 Electronic 1976, Leica IIIc 1950, Leica IIIe 1954, Leica R3 Electronic 1978, Leicaflex SL 1968, Leica M3 1960, Leica R3 Mot Electronic 1979, Leica M5 1972, Leica R4 Mot Electronic 1980, Leica CL 1971, Leica I 1937-1938, Leica IIIf 1950-51, Leicaflex SL 1972, and Leica AF-C1. There are also vintage Minox, Canon, Minolta, and Kodak cameras.

The sale includes many pieces of Kittinger furniture, a mid century down sectional sofa, a Henredon dining table and sideboard, a 19th century revolving bookcase, a Pietro Bazzanti marble bust, a massive pair of French gilt metal candelabras, oil paintings and Polly King watercolors, a Miller slag glass table lamp, a grandfather clock, an eastlake sewing desk, Steuben and Spode stemware, Royal Doulton and Spode Christmas china, Dresden cherubs, Royal Doulton and Coalport figurines, a figural Italian majolica stag head tureen, and art glass. There are Palanker furs, vintage handbags including a Judith Leiber, mens Stetson hats and vintage western ware, wool point blankets and linens.

We also have antique Niagara Falls collectibles and ephemera, a collection of African and tribal pieces, vintage leather saddles, Walthers model trains, marbles, a Strutco Artcraft loom and loads of weaving supplies, vintage Christmas decor, scales and weights and brass decor. There is a vast bell collection including a C.S. Bell Co. No. 30 yoke cast iron bell, locomotive bells, Navy and ship bells, boxing/fight bells, sleigh bells, cow and goat bells, hotel bells, hand bells and every bell in between. There are also steam whistles and other locomotive collectibles. Outside are a fantastic pair or cast stone urns, a cast stone Native American statue, and wrought iron garden furniture. 

We will be limiting admittance in the jewelry, coins, and silver room, as well as the camera room. In addition to our regular signup list to enter the sale, there will be two signup lists for those wishing to prioritize access to either of the specialty rooms. Security will be onsite throughout the sale.
