Terms & Conditions

Please be advised that by placing a bid with LONG ISLAND SILENT AUCTION, you are entering into a legally binding agreement. If you are the successful winning bidder, you agree to complete the purchase and pay for all item(s) won in accordance with the terms of the auction.


By placing a bid, the bidder acknowledges that they have reviewed the lot description, photographs, condition information, authentication details, and all applicable auction terms prior to bidding. All questions should be submitted to LONG ISLAND SILENT AUCTION before placing a bid.


Bidding & Winning Bidders

The successful winning bidder is the highest bidder acknowledged by the Auctioneer at the close of the lot.

LONG ISLAND SILENT AUCTION and its Auctioneer shall have final discretion in determining the successful bidder and resolving any bidding disputes. In the event a dispute arises following the auction, the official LONG ISLAND SILENT AUCTION sale record shall govern.


Lot Withdrawal, Combination & Errors

LONG ISLAND SILENT AUCTION reserves the right, at its discretion, to withdraw, combine, modify, or remove any lot from an auction at any time prior to the completion of the sale, without liability.


LONG ISLAND SILENT AUCTION also reserves the right to cancel an order following an auction under circumstances including, but not limited to:

An item does not successfully pass our final quality-control inspection prior to shipment.


A lot was listed, described, or sold due to an administrative, technical, or auctioneer error.


The item is discovered to be unavailable, damaged, materially different from its listing, or otherwise unsuitable for delivery.


Should any of these circumstances occur, LONG ISLAND SILENT AUCTION may, at its discretion, offer the winning bidder a same, similar, or upgraded item at no additional cost, issue a refund of the applicable purchase amount, or provide a customer credit.


Any customer credit issued by LONG ISLAND SILENT AUCTION will expire one (1) year from the date of issuance, unless otherwise stated in writing.


Authenticity & Quality Control

LONG ISLAND SILENT AUCTION takes the authenticity and quality of the merchandise we offer seriously. Items represented as authenticated will be accompanied by the applicable Certificate of Authenticity and/or third-party authentication documentation as described in the individual lot listing.


Every item is subject to our final quality-control review prior to shipment. If an item does not meet our standards, we reserve the right to withhold shipment and provide the buyer with an appropriate replacement, refund, or credit as outlined above.


Acceptance of Terms


PLACING A BID CONSTITUTES THE BIDDER’S ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
