The lifetime body of work of Sam Norkin, American illustrator and caricaturist, the “other Hirschfeld.” Exhibited at the Lincoln Center Performing Arts Library with a 200-work retrospective entitled “Theatre Ink,” Norkin’s great artistic skills are apparent in this Day One of a Three Day auction. It encompasses all of his drawings of theatre, opera, ballet, jazz, and pop music as well as celebrities of film, television, and politics.
