Manhattan Estate Sale of Former Art Gallery Owners, In-Person Pick-Up (East 22nd Street)

In the 1970s and 80s Brendelle & Fred Walden ran an art gallery out of their Peter Cooper Village apartment in Manhattan. They were friends and benefactors to artists both locally and internationally. They loved to travel and spent much time in Europe as well as in the southwest where they acquired Native American crafts. Often, pieces in their collection were lent to museums, and now, many have been donated. Brendelle & Fred inhabited their Peter Cooper apartment for over 50 years. We’re proud to present the remaining art plus mid century furniture, their vast book collection including many coffee table art books, designer women’s clothing & other quality brand household items.
