If you live in Niagara County there is a good chance you know Jimmy Cancemi.  He is retired from the Niagara Falls City School District, having taught Special Education for 25 years. During his tenure, he was the Director of the Child Find Project. In addition, he served as President of the School Board. Mr. Cancemi is currently a member of the YMCA First Century Club and on its Board of Directors, Niagara Falls Boys & Girls Club Alumni, and the Niagara County Community College Foundation. He belongs to many professional organizations and has been the recipient of numerous awards for community service. Jimmy also was instrumental in organizing the Festival of Lights that so many enjoyed every holiday season. After fifty-three years as owner of Cancemi furniture, the time has come to liquidate his vast inventory of fabulous furnishings located at his store on 6th Avenue.
