This old Pittsford home is brimming with treasures – a house that’s packed with antiques and collectibles from the attic to the basement. Listed below are just some of the items it has to offer.
There is an inlaid marquetry piano by Straube and an assortment of Victorian furniture. You’ll find a Victorian rosewood settee, an early 19th century blanket chest, a jacquard coverlet, a spinning wheel, an antique step back cupboard, painted child’s chairs, a Federal slant front desk, an Empire work table, a one drawer stand, an Edwardian ladies writing desk, an old medicine cabinet, a Chinese carved chest, Windsor chairs and beds.
There are Chinese ivory carvings and Chinese porcelain with figurines and other items by Hummel and Lladro. You’ll find churns and crocks, some with cobalt decoration. There’s a large collection of Royal Doulton, Royal Crown Derby, Royal Worcester, Nao porcelain, Parianware, Boehm and Rosenthal china and Norman Rockwell collectibles with sculpture and Italian ceramics added to the list.
The glass collection includes Victorian art glass, cut glass, contemporary art glass, Swedish glass, Waterford, Royal Copenhagen.
There are framed presidential portraits, oil paintings, lithographs, water colors and other various pictures.
Ephemera includes advertising, old postcards and old photographs.
See the collection of German steins, stoneware, bottles, old records and antique currency together with a collection of antique books which includes a Civil War book entitled ‘Famous Leaders in Battle’ and a World War II marine uniform.
