On nearly eleven acres in the beautiful countryside of Remsen this early 1800's stone house was home to a local physician and will occupy your interests and sweep you back in time.

There's far too much to mention everything here!  Antiques, Vintage, Collectibles, the unusual and the spectacular..  A collection for and of the Ages..  Our numerous photos will say more than we can...

If that's not enough theres also a barn and a two stall garage just bursting at the seams.. 

Here's just some of the what's waiting for you....

The many rooms are overflowing  with Victorian, Empire, Colonial, Arts and Craft and Primitive furniture pieces including old Stickley and other quality name brand furniture. A very early and uniquely crafted Grandfather clock said to be a match to one owned by Martha Stewart. Quality artworks including original oils, watercolors and several by collectible local artists. Many brass and copper treasures throughout this home. A large and impressive collection of old crockery and stoneware jugs, many local pieces including Whites of Utica.

There's a massive library of old and rare books plus local offerings. One of the largest you'll  find under one roof. There's also loads of ephemera including  vintage Christmas and local interest post cards and other vintage card collections. 

Amongst the "huge" selection of vintage to Victorian Christmas decorations you'll find unique pieces from around the world that will surprise even the serious collectors. Quality antique table and bed linens, including early quilts, bedspreads, wools, curtains and more. Vintage sewing machines, sewing supplies and early Victorian accessories plus bags and bags of quilting fabric cuttings.

A large collection of antique shipping trunks, chests and wooden boxes. Vintage wooden  cranberry scoops. A nice variety of wall and table clocks. Advertising tins, a large and impressive hand crafted doll house just full of unique  furniture and furnishings pieces.  The good doctor and his wife loved horses so you will find a nice collection of themed statuary and such. Wooden trunks full of horse tack, bridles, buggy whips and sleigh bell collars.

A variety of unusual and collectible table and floor lamps. Baskets, baskets and more baskets.. this home has many vintage  braided and other quality area rugs. 

For the bottle collectors you'll find all kinds from pharmaceuticals and local pieces in all shapes, sizes and colors. There's also a nice variety of vintage board and card games.

For the outdoorsman there's a great collection of vintage fishing gear, poles, reels including some rare bamboo fly rods by Heddon and others, assorted Mitchell 300, 400, 410 reels, vintage creel fishing basket, old tackle in boxes, bait and tackle boxes. We also have a nice variety of live ammo, holsters and gun cases plus vintage ammo wood boxes. There's also some vintage pocket and very early straight blade hunting knives.  

Early sound equipment  including turntables and reel to reel by Ampex, Garrard, Fisher, Sharp and more.  Vintage  speakers  by Electro Voice and Criterion and a vintage  KLM  model 21 fm radio receiver  in excellent  operating  condition. selection of old record albums and album sets. Vintage photography, camera and lenses and a high end "Questar" telescope with a synchronized camera for the serious stargazer. 

Assorted vintage glasswares and stemwares, fine china dinnerwares and occasional pieces, sliver service pieces including some sterling. We have Estate and costume jewelry, some precious metal any name brand pieces.  

All kinds of kitchenwares, some vintage, cookwares, bakewares including Revere, cast iron pans and assorted countertop appliances.  

The barn is a "Pickers Dream".. get ready to get dirty. All kinds of old woodworking tools, hardwares, iron works, implements, power equipment including Cub Cadet zero turn mower, Troy Bilt "Horse" roto tiller, DR wood chipper plus a large tow behind wood splitter. Two horse drawn buggies including a beautifully crafted Meadowbrook Horse carriage from Lancaster PA plus a traditional Doctor's buggy, saddles and horse blankets. Steel and aluminum patio furniture sets. Other barn finds that have been aging in the loft include numerous live edge cherry boards, antique wood doors and windows,  shutters and other unique architectural pieces. 

There's a Ford Series 8 tractor in grest running condition with a "Squealer" Bush Hog, several  trailers and a nice 15 ' Grumman  aluminum canoe. 

In the two stall garage the picking fun continues.. All kinds of hand and power tools, like new Ariens snow blower, gas and propane powered generators, all kinds of aluminum ladders, lawn and garden implements and assorted decorative pieces, metal fike and parts cabinets,  large concrete bird bath, plus a gorgeous cast aluminum 4' mid century American Eagle plaque that adorned the garage,  small refrigerator and newer mid sized upright freezer.
