We are pleased to present an exceptional fresh offering of a recent group of local estate consignments as well as the fruits of 20+ years of professional (also known as obsessive lol) collecting. We are opening up our warehouse for the first time in many years, and for this 3 day sale, we will have an incredible amount of rare, unusual and fine antique and vintage decorative objects to sell. We will be setting up in our warehouse and in tents outside. This once in a lifetime event features a large collection of antique, vintage and modern objects including, but not limited to (skip down for list):
(we will be adding to this list continually as well as adding more images, please check back regularly)
Alert - July 29th - We are just receiving an exceptional consignment of a New York City collector including good decorative objects and fine art, we're still cataloging, and will be adding images continually.
Our Warehouse is now officially packed to overload! See the image of our reception room. That image shows less than 1/4 of the art and objects we picked up today from estate of the NYC commercial artist who collected in NYC in the '60's, '70's and '80's. Warhol, Leger, Lichtenstein, Miro, Marin, literally 100's of early to mid 20th century works. We will be cataloging and putting up images until the day before the sale.
Update August 4th - We are unpacking still and uncovering more and more fine quality art and objects. More Warhol, Old Master drawings, Pop art, Hudson Fiver School, Kathe Kollwitz and Bronze. A 19c Presidential Document signed Franklin Pierce, Did I mention Ben Franklin? Please check the images, we uploaded many yesterday and will load more today and tomorrow.
We now also have 2 very rare Thoroughbred Horse Racing hand painted resin sculptures by Kitty Cantrell. Affirmed, 1 of 3 Wolfson commissioned and American Pharaoh. Both painted by Caroline Boydston.
A fine Degas self portrait etching too!
Everything will be sold in 3 days
Update August 8th:
We're just about ready after a CRAZY thunderstorm yesterday afternoon, I've uploaded a few teaser pics of the (almost) set up interior, there really is too much stuff, we are struggling to get it all out, we may be forced to feed new stuff in as the sale progresses. Happy hunting and we will see you a little later!
Update August 9th:
We will be putting out more things today that we were not able to get to the day before yesterday.
