Description & Details
Lenny Silver left us recently, but not before leaving his indelible mark on Western New York and beyond. Founder of Record Theatre, one of the longest running independent record stores in the United States. Lenny was a visionary who made his ideas work to the tune of over forty store locations, but Main and Lafayette will always be Lenny Silver Way. He also founded Amherst Records in the late 1970s, and attracted an eclectic roster of talent from his connections in the record business. We'll open the doors to his home this Thursday from 1PM to 6PM and Friday and Saturday from 9AM to 3PM. Come experience and shop in his hip basement and lose yourself in the vast vinyl collection, autographed photos and album covers, framed industry awards, movie promotional material, local ephemera and advertising, concert posters, vintage and hip clothing, concert t-shirts and jackets, retro toys, movie star memorabilia, sport collectibles and more! Furnishings upstairs include Henredon tufted sofa, Drexel occasional chairs, gilded credenza and mirrors, marble top and antique brass coffee table, bedroom sets, bookcases, watercolors and oil paintings, Franciscan apple china set, crystal, pottery, clothing, books, kitchenware, two newer lift chairs, two power wheelchairs, residential vertical wheelchair lift and so much more. Sign up list will be posted Monday at 4PM. Security is on the premises. Come to all four of our Western New York sales this week: http://ednalouise.herokuapp.com/sales. And be sure to have the Edna Louise iPhone app!
