Description & Details
Extensive single owner collection of cameras, lenses, movie cameras, projectors and other image making memorabilia. This large collection includes some high-end equipment including Leica and Mamiya, and quite a bit of large and medium format cameras and accessories. There are also many 35mm camera bodies, lenses, lense accessories, flash bulbs and units, filters, cases and so much more. This collector was a huge Exakta fan and that brand is fully represented. In addition there are Canon, Nikon, Yashica, Minolta, Konica, Olympus, Argus and many others. In the movie camera category there are Bell & Howell, Paillard Bolex, Keystone in both 8mm and 16mm formats, Kodak and much more. There are also vintage projectors in 8mm and 16mm. We are not camera experts. We have had a few of the best cameras looked at by a professional, but for the most part we have lotted them up in the ways that made sense to us and tried to take plenty of pictures. Please examine the photos and use your own knowledge and judgment. You may also contact the auction house by email or phone for more information on particular lots.
In-person preview of this collection is available by appointment Friday Feb. 5 through Monday Feb. 8. For inquiries or to make an appointment please call 607-435-1851.
