We are excited to bring you the estate of local and renowned artist Arlene Abend (1931-2025). The sale includes not only a collection of Ms. Abend’s original works but also her personal art collection encompassing various local and nationally recognized artists representing a broad range of artistic mediums, as well as the contents of her Mid-Century Modern home. Ms. Abend’s original works include realistic and abstract castings, sculptures, photos, ceramics, acrylics, foundry floor drippings, jewelry, copper, bronze, additional metalworks, drawings, and more.

Her private art collection includes LOCAL ARTISTS: Jerome Witkin, George Welch, Rodger Mack, Sybille Leary, Nick Starr, Mack Foundry, Margie Hughto, David Harper, John Fitzsimmons, Jim Kenty, Stephen Carpenter, N Topisco; and NATIONALLY KNOWN ARTISTS: Titus, Steve Zeithen, Gabrielle Dinger, Judy Brinckerhoff, David Bumbeck, Inuet, Charles Buell, A Watkins, Sylvia Mane, William Kortlender, Tamzauia, Joyce Goldstein, Jahan, Donna Peden Wesley, Asian art, Aboriginal painting, Yei hanging; foundry splatter, artisan and craft items, stone and wood carvings art supplies, and more.

Mid-Century Modern: Rare Unagusta bar/liquor cabinet, bedroom furniture, drop front desk, floor and table lamps, chairs, tables, Lane chest, Th. Mathiewsen flatware, corner bookcase, artisan glassware and ceramics.

Jewelry: In addition to one-of-a-kind pieces created by Ms. Abend, there is also a variety of watches (Monet, Imagem Times Square, Timex, Geneva, Pulsar), mid-century Brutalist pieces, sterling, jade, Egyptian, F.H.B., Cornia, Esteé Lauder, Hogan Bolas, Syliva, MCM bronze, D.D., MCM abstract.
