For over a month now, Sweet & Company has been very busy preparing for Part 1 of an incredible, multigenerational estate sale! Every inch of this home is absolutely packed with over 100 years worth of family collections. Included in the sale is a large 19th century Victorian cylinder music box, an antique hand painted rocking horse, a Jefferson slag glass table lamp, a copper heron weathervane, a room-size vintage hand knotted wool rug, Pan American Exposition collectibles including two plaster cast architectural elements reported to have been salvaged from Pan-Am buildings, Staffordshire dogs, Murano glass, American art pottery including Roseville, Weller, McCoy, Fulper, Burley Winter, and Van Briggle, Chinese soapstone carvings, original paintings and prints, Eastlake/ Victorian dressers, a quarter sawn oak clawfoot dining table, mesh and beaded purses, vintage hats, early 20th century toys, an antique dental cabinet, great vintage kitchen items including pyrex, jadeite, depression glass refrigerator dishes, cast iron pans, and Reverware, tons of ephemera, Fenton glass, Wedgwood, great vintage Christmas/ holiday decor, Uranium glass, daguerreotypes, just to name a bit! The basement and garage are filled too. The garage will offer picker opportunities in the boxes we won’t have time to sort through.
