W.F. Moran Vintage Bone Handle 7" Lime Kiln Knife with Leather Sheath: A vintage W.F. Moran 7" lime kiln clip point blade with stag handle knife and custom stitched leather belt sheath. Knife features a brass cross guard and carved grip handle with metal pommel for hammering. This circa 1960s fixed blade hunting knife is heavy and substantial, created by William (Bill) F. Moran Jr. (1925-2006) who was a pioneering American knife maker. He founded the American Bladesmith Society and is notable for reintroducing the process of making pattern welded steel to modern knife making. Moran’s knives have been especially sought after by celebrities and heads-of-state. The ricasso is stamped “W.F. Moran Lime Kiln MD.” on one side.Puma Solingen Rostfrei Vintage Hoof Handle Knife: A Puma Solingen Rostfrei vintage hoof handle knife with brass trimmed blade sheath. This small normal blade knife features a taxidermy mammal hoof for the handle with a brass cap for the bottom of the hoof and ringed brass collar for the transition to the blade. Cheek of the blade is stamped “Puma Solingen, Made in Germany, Rostfrei” along with the puma logo. Cheek of the blade is also stamped “Right Hand, o. 6385, Gm 1938506”. Ricasso is stamped “Puma-Werk, West Germany” on one side. Knife features a full tang with stag handle that has three brass and steel pin rivets along with a brass lined lanyard hole and a brass cross guard. The black leather belt sheath has folded and wrapped architecture with seam stitching and strengthening rivets along one side.German Carved Natural Stag Handle 3" Fixed Blade Vintage Knife: A German carved natural antler handle 3" fixed blade vintage knife with leather sheath. Knife features a carved 12-point stage likeness on the natural stag horn base handle, a brass guard, and normal shaped steel blade that is stamped “Rostfrei Solingen” on one side. The leather sheath has stitched seams and rivets for strengthening. Top of blade casing has a color screen print of the German mountain valley village “Berchtesgaden” with the name printed at the skyline. Berchtesgaden is a municipality in the German Bavarian Alps located in the south district of Bavaria near the Austrian border.
