Large Italian Art Nouveau Alabaster Lamp with Slag Glass Mosaic Shade: An Italian alabaster Art Nouveau lamp, with a large and elaborate slag glass mosaic shade. This unique lamp sits on a pedestal base; boasting of a carved floral design, double sockets, and matching original alabaster finial. The intricately made, lead and slag glass mosaic shade, boasts of a vibrant palette of green, orange, pink, peach, blue and more, in a vine and petal design; withan open-work, bronze top. Socket and cord are not original to piece. Inscribed to the base “Made in Italy”.Pair of Unique Vintage Low Chairs: A pair of vintage low to the ground chairs. This pair features a tilted backrest for comfort, with open work arms and back; carved decorative scrolling features, a camel back backrest, applied carved medallions to the arms and sides; dowel joinery and later added vinyl upholstery. Both are very light weight.Maurice Ascalon Mid Century Pal-Bell Menorah: A Pal-Bell Jewish Mid Century bronze Menorah, by Israeli artist Maurice Ascalon, (Hebrew: מוריס אשקלון‎‎; 1913–2003). This unique work features laurels to either side, and eight stylized oil lamps for the lighting the menorah. The mark at the bottom is inscribed in Hebrew; it reads Pal-Bell (פל-בל), Made in Israel (מיוצר בישראל).Original Signed Richard Roflow Oil Painting: An original Richard Roflow (Ohio/Maine 1932-2015) painting. This cheerful depiction was probably created during the artist’s time along the coast of Maine, and features a young girl playing in the waves with her dog. Completed on board in a palette of blue, green, tan, beige and white; signed to the lower left by the artist. Housed in a gold-toned, cast embellished frame.Pre Civil War Seth Thomas Mahagony Brass Mantel Clock: A 19th century, pre-civil war Seth Thomas eight day brass clock. This clock features empire style cast columns, hand-painted enamel porcelain clock face, floral reverse painted doors, original weight, pendulum and key; the original paper with “Seth Thomas Plymouth Hollow, Conn”; the brass workings that are visible through opening in the face feature the eagle and Seth Thomas’ name. All parts appear to be present. Newer gold rope wire has been applied to the weights.Original Signed Evelyn Marx Surrealist Ink Painting "Egyptian Dreamers": An original ink painting by Cincinnati surrealism artist Evelyn Marx (1901-1996), titled Egyptian Dreamers. This vibrant, and imaginative depiction was created in the 1980s, and features images of Egyptian mythology as being seen through a child’s dreams. This Toby is featured in 18th century French garments, with floral vestments in a palette of cobalt blue, orange, red, yellow and green. Numbered to the underside 60/1691 with artists mark.Signed Japanese Art Nouveau Style Kutani Iris Jar: A magnificent hand-painted, Art Nouveau style Japanese iris jar. This expertly rendered piece dates to approximately the 1970s, and features blooming irises in a rich palette of gold, green, cobalt blue, pink and white. Signed to the bottom “kutani” 九谷.Large Vintage Thai Kalaga Bullion Tapestry with Scene From Ramakien: A large Kalga tapestry produced in Thailand. This elaborately detailed work features a scene from Ramakien, a Thai variation of the Hindu epic Ramayana. Painstakingly hand beaded, with sequins, stones, metal and bullion thread against a black, velvet like background. This vibrant palette moves before the eye in hues of gold, green, yellow, orange, silver, red, blue, brown and more. Housed securely, under glass, in a custom made shadowbox.Pair of Vintage R. Wolfe Old West Watercolor Paintings: A pair of Western themed watercolor depictions. this pair features Native American Chieftains, one appears to be Tecumseh, while the other was not identified. These wonderful depictions are signed by the artist “R. Wolfe.” Housed securely under glass, with tan and red double matting, and a basic brown and gold accented frame.Original Mid Century Signed German Oil Painting: An expertly rendered German Oil painting. This piece is signed, and though the signature is illegible, there is a clear date placing the creation of this work to 1964. This rendering features a German countryside, with a horse-drawn goods wagon preparing to enter the city gates, under a cloudy sky, and surrounded by a mountain range. Executed in an earthy palette of brown, tan, green, beige and gray. Signed and dated by the artist to the lower right.Japanese Meiji Period Bronze Swan Vessel: A Japanese Meiji Period メイジ (1868-1912) bronze vessel. This ornate depiction features a floral body, double handles in the form of swans, and a footed base.Vintage Chinese Wood Offering Sculpture: A Chinese wood sculpture with hand painted paper mache`overlay. This depiction features a woman in a gold robe with a red sash, carrying a tray with a small offering vessel upon it. A peg is seen to the verso, perhaps indicating that this piece was an architectural ornament.Vintage Chinese Long Neck Vessel with Wax Export Seal: A vintage Chinese long neck vessel, with the “jian ding” (鐘鼎) red wax export seal still affixed. This vase features a bulbous body with a long neck, in a bluish-green glaze. Part of the jian ding seal is still affixed to the body, and appears to be one that came into use in 1997. This, and other variations of the seal, were affixed to approved antique and vintage exports made after 1911, though the pieces could be older.
