Herman Miller Swivel Armchair with Footstool: A Mid Century Modern vintage armchair with matching footstool, by Herman Miller. Both are upholstered in brown leather, with silver tone metal frames and X-shaped bases with plastic feet. The chair swivels on its base while the footstool is fixed in place. By Herman Miller, marked to the underside of the footstool. The chair has a mid-century modern style and an orange vinyl upholstery and tube chrome legs.James Yoko Original Mixed Media Painting on Canvas: An original 1990 oil painting on canvas with applied magazine clippings by well-listed Ohio artist James Yoko (1916-2004). The painting features a vivid red field overlaid with ripped pieces of magazines bearing a variety of black and white letters. The painting is signed and dated to the verso and is presented in a wooden slat-style frame with white finish. Yoko was born in Youngstown, Ohio and was awarded a scholarship to the Dayton Art Institute where he earned a BA in Fine Arts. He continued his education by taking post-graduate courses with John King. His work has been shown in New York, Pennsylvania, Miami Valley Cooperative Gallery, Rutledge Gallery, and Antioch College.Lane Brutalist Five-Drawer Dresser by Paul Evans: An oak Brutalist five drawer dresser designed by Paul Evans for Lane Furniture. The image depicts a stunning portrait of a working-class woman wearing a head scarf, staring impassively at the viewer as she holds a lotus flower dripping in thick, dark oil. To the upper right, an oil rig resides within a circular flame logo, and to the lower left is the OBEY star logo. Artist signature is signed and dated in pencil to the lower right. This print is unframed, awaiting presentation of choice.Joan Miró Hand-Pulled Lithograph from "LITHOGRAPHS II": A limited edition hand-pulled lithograph after very well-listed Spanish Surrealist Joan Miró (1893 – 1983). The print was printed by Galerie Mourlot, Paris as part of the publication LITHOGRAPHS II, a volume of Miró’s Catalogue Raisonne. The publication was originally published in 1975, chronicling Miró’s lithographic work between 1953 and 1963. The publication included 12 original hand-pulled lithographs plus a cover image. It has a light hardwood frame, near-black vinyl upholstered removable seat and back cushions, and silver tone metal wire legs. The sides are open with no armrests. Labelled.Cushman Mahogany Side Table: A Cushman mahogany side table. This table has a two-tiered, circular construction and rests on tapered, splayed legs. It is marked to the bottom with a metal tag which reads, “A Genuine Cushman Colonial Creation”.Herman Miller Shell Chair: A Mid Century Modern fiberglass shell chair by Herman Miller. Unmarked.Mid-Century Modern Dining Set: A vintage Mid-Century Modern dining set, including table and four chairs. The table has an oval top in faux wood laminate veneer, on a birch base, with square legs. It can be expanded with the included leaf insert panel. The chairs have caned backs, and golden yellow velvet seats with parallel channels, and stand on square legs matching those of the table, with spreaders. Unmarked.Pair of Black Acapulco Chairs: A pair of Acapulco style chairs, in black. Each has a black metal frame with three legs, and a seat made from stretched black synthetic strings. The design, a classic of Mid-Century Modernism, is said to have originated in the 1950s in Mexican tourist hotspot Acapulco. Its open design, supposedly based on traditional Mexican hammocks, allows air flow to cool the user in hot weather.
