Eight Maitland-Smith Chippendale Style Chairs with Table: A fine mahogany dining table and eight chairs, by Maitland-Smith. The extension table has a rectangular top with figured veneer and two matching leaves, all with reeded edge, over twin, turned pedestal bases, supported on three splayed legs with brass feet and casters. The chairs include two arm and six side chairs, each having foliate and pierced carved backs in the Chippendale style, over slip-seats, upholstered in an ivory raw silk, appearing fabric. Custom pads included.Hand Knotted Persian Inspired Area Rug: A hand knotted Persian rug. The rug features and allover floral design with shades of red. blue. green, tan and golden yellow. It has a kilim shirt and overcast selvage edges.French Style Ladies Desk: A French, Louis XV style ladies desk, veneered in mahogany and satinwood. The curvilinear, finished back, wraps around a centered marble shelf with brass gallery, over two string inlaid drawers and an embossed leather, pull-out writing surface. Below is one inlaid drawer, between cabriole legs with ormolu mounts.
