An Original Signed George Jo Mess Etching Titled "Heavy Snow": An original unframed signed George Jo Mess (1898 -1962) etching titled “Heavy Snow”. This black and white etching depicts a hauntingly but beautiful tree and village blanketed in a heavy winter snow. . Mess studied at Butler Univeristy and the Fontainebleau School of Fine Arts in France and was the founder of both the Circle Art Company and Circle Art Academy, both in Indianapolis. He exhibited work at prominent institutions around the world, including the Chicago Art Institute and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
