This painting depicts a bundle of purple and green grapes, autumnal leaves and produced such as pears and plums. This piece is not signed and is presented as an unframed canvas with a rope edge.William Gebhardt Pastel Drawing on Paper of a Still Life Daffodils: A pastel drawing on paper of still life with daffodils by listed artist William Gebhardt (Ohio; 1907 – 1975), created in 1950. This drawing depicts a floral arrangement created with yellow daffodils withing a blue vase. The vase sits atop a table with a white and purple tablecloth against a purple and green background. The piece is signed and dated in pastel to the lower left corner and is housed behind acrylic glass in an off-white mat within a wooden frame. William Gebhardt was born in Franklin, Ohio and remained in the Cincinnati area for most of his life. His studio was located in downtown Cincinnati at the corner of West 4th street & Elm.
