19th Century Chinese Carved Rosewood Vanity Box with Mirror: A 19th century Chinese carved rosewood vanity case, designed to be compact for travel with handles at each side. The outer box is carved with auspicious symbols and flying bats, then brass hardware and a geometric carved pattern at the base. The hinged top frames the mirror which props open revealing the four inner drawers and two storage boxes that swing outward. The original brass lock and key are present and working.
