It is with much pride & anticipation that I announce the sale of Artist Designer Viktor Schreckengost's Estate!

Welcome to this large old home on one of Cleveland Hts' finest streets!

WE HAVE A LITTLE OF VIKTOR'S ARTWORK, MANY OF HIS CHINA & SOME OTHER DESIGNS & THE AFFECTS OF A LIFETIME MANY OF THEM PERSONAL!

Called an "American da Vinci" by so many that discover him, the breadth and depth of his work is staggering by any measure. A pioneer of modern American industrial design, prolific sculptor, painter, and ceramist, his works are sought by and held in major private and public collections across the United States and around the world. His accomplishments have been recognized through dozens of awards including the National Medal of Arts awarded by the President of the United States, the country's highest award in the arts.

Schreckengost's crowning achievement was his creation of the first industrial design education program in America in the 1930s. For nearly 70 years, he trained generations of leading industrial designers. The impact on the country's economy far exceeds $200 billion. His impact on the quality of our lives is immeasurable."

We started working in the Schreckengost home Thursday June 15th & and it is an overwhelming amount of work to get done as there is so much here! This is a real Vintage Household & there are collectible items of every sort & furniture too including the Schreckengost Family Gilbert Rohde designed dining room table & chairs (needing restoration). Nothing has been brought in everything here was owned by Viktor Schreckengost and has been accumulating here since 1952!

Gilbert Rhode dining table & 6 chairs (needs restoration), So many different pieces of Mid Century & 1940s/50s vintage furniture. Additional fine Giclee prints and lithos, by Viktor added to this sale by my client after Fridays successful sale of said above! Set 4 blonde chairs, other blonde chairs, very many small tables, stands & chairs. Large Victorian desk, Berkey & Gay oak sideboard & server, nice Empire round table, Empire work table, Country table & 4 chairs, antique country chest. 4 Piece 1930s painted twin bedroom suite. A nice ceramic bowl signed by Viktor! Chrome items, ceramics, glasswares, pottery, china, stoneware, antiques. Musical instruments Viktor used in still life paintings! 2 reproduction pedal cars. Art Metal of Jamestown NY office suite, walnut office desk, office chairs all personally used by Viktor!! Antique rope bed, antique trunks. Oriental rugs, Antique Schaffts tin sign, antique tins, metal wares, Hall tea pots, china services, much white stoneware. RCA floor model radio, RCA Victor working record player/small console. Wilcox Gay Recordio with discs, record cabinet, music cabinet. Lot & lots of Vintage Xmas ornaments, trunks, sea shells, old bottles, canning jars, metal shelving. Sewing machines, floor lamps, some books & paper. Some of Victor's prints & souvenir designs. There are QUITE LITERALLY 1000s of things for sale here!

This is a really fun sale in a Very Large Old Home, open from the basement to the attic and the garage too, in a beautiful historic neighborhood!

This sale will begin on Friday & continue through Sunday the last weekend of June!
