Terms & Conditions
DILLER AUCTION HOUSE ? TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. PARTICIPATION AND PURCHASES
By registering and bidding, the bidder agrees to the published auction terms, payment requirements, shipping arrangements, and applicable LiveAuctioneers policies. The successful bidder is responsible for completing the purchase once the sale is concluded, subject to applicable law.
2. CONDITION AND INSPECTION
Items are sold AS IS, WHERE IS, WITH ALL FAULTS, to the extent permitted by law, except for any express written warranty stated for a particular lot. Buyers should examine the photographs and descriptions, attend the preview when possible, and request additional information before bidding.
Antique and collectible items may show wear, damage, repairs, restoration, or missing components. The absence of a condition statement does not establish that an item is flawless or unrestored. Measurements are approximate unless expressly stated otherwise.
Descriptions, dates, cultural attributions, and collection histories should be considered together with the available documentation. Nothing in these terms eliminates rights arising from a material misdescription or other rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
3. RETURNS AND CONCERNS
Sales are final except where a remedy is required by law, applicable LiveAuctioneers policies, or Diller Auction House?s written agreement. A change of mind alone is not grounds for cancellation.
Report any concern about a material discrepancy promptly to Diller Auction House through LiveAuctioneers or by calling 419-890-2561. Include the lot number, photographs, and supporting information. Contact us to coordinate any authorized return before sending an item back.
4. CONDUCT OF THE AUCTION
The auctioneer determines the successful bidder and resolves bidding disputes subject to applicable law. Any reserves or special conditions will be disclosed as required. Lot withdrawals, corrections, and changes to bidding procedures remain subject to applicable law and the published conditions of sale.
5. ONLINE BIDDING
Internet interruptions, delayed transmissions, and other technical problems may affect online bidding. Uninterrupted service or acceptance of a particular bid cannot be guaranteed. Please allow sufficient time to place bids.
6. PAYMENT AND COLLECTION
The published Payment and Shipping policies form part of these terms. Buyers must pay for purchases and complete the agreed pickup or shipping arrangements. Nonpayment may result in a report to LiveAuctioneers, loss of future bidding privileges, and remedies permitted by law.
7. SHIPPING AND LEGAL RESTRICTIONS
Shipping availability varies by item and destination. Purchases, releases, and shipments must comply with applicable laws and carrier requirements. Buyers should resolve questions about delivery eligibility before bidding.
8. GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by Ohio law, subject to mandatory applicable consumer protections and LiveAuctioneers requirements. No provision waives a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived.
