A Valid Credit Card Must be on file to Bid: Please note that an active credit card must be on file before the system will allow bidding to take place on your account. A $1.00 pre-authorization will be charged to your account to assure the card is valid.

We encourage you to use a Credit Card, “NOT A DEBIT CARD” for the following reasons:

No monies either Credit or Debit are ever released to us until the sale is over and you are declared the winner, we run your card for the hammer price, plus the buyer’s premium and we send you a paid receipt.

Credit Cards: the deposit amount will show as a pending only on your credit card /account, identical to when you register for a motel room. It will not be added to your current card balance. The authorization will expire within 2-3 business days if you have not won a bid.

Debit Cards:are handled totally differently, your bank will temporally place a hold on the deposit. This amount will therefore not show in your checking account associated with the debit card. (This deposit is never released to us), the deposit amount will be release and restored to your account after the sale is closed and we generate the invoices.

E-mail Confirmation: Your e-mail must be confirmed before the system will allow bidding to take place. If you are having issues bidding be sure to check your e-mail (including spam folder) and verify your e-email address.

Warranties and Guarantees: All items are sold "AS IS," with no warranty expressed or implied by Candoo or its suppliers. Our company and our suppliers specifically disclaim the implied warranties of title, merchantability, non-infringement, and fitness for a particular purpose. Some states do not allow the disclaimer of implied warranties, so the foregoing disclaimer may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights-and you may also have other legal rights, which vary, from state to state. This is an internet auction only, no refunds, charge-backs or guarantees are offered.

Bidder Number or Paddle Number: In order to protect the identity of our bidders each bidder will be assigned a different bidder number or paddle number for each new auction or catalog.

Bidding and Buying. As a bidder if you have the highest bid at the end of an auction at or above the opening bid price (or in case of reserve auctions, at or above the reserve price), you are obligated to complete the transaction. Bids are non-retractable except in exceptional circumstances, such as changes being made to the description after you bid or clears typographical errors. You may not bid in a way that pulls other bidders to their maximum bid, retract the high bid, and then rebid at a small increment above the legitimate high bidder. Placing a bid constitutes a binding offer between you, the Bidder, and the Owner/Seller. You are placing your bid based on your interpretation of the item(s) value. You are contractually obligated to buy the merchandise at the price stated as Your bid, as well as pay all other applicable taxes, fees, and 15% Buyer’s Premium.

Before placing a bid, please make sure you are available during the posted pick-up times for the items you have won. If you are unable to personally pick up the items at that time someone else may pick them up on your behalf. You will still be responsible for being prepared with all the necessities that will require you to pick up your item(s) such as packing materials and adequate help. In some instances there may be an alternate pickup time for an auction with a $95 alternate pickup fee but this is on a case by case basis.

Buy It Now: Occasionally there will be a buy it now option. This the easiest way to make a purchase on an item. When you see a listing with a Buy It Now option, the price is fixed, so you can buy it straight away. After you hit buy it now the item will remain open until it is paid in full. The pickup date for the item will remain the same as the auction pickup date unless otherwise arranged with the auctioneer.

Bid Notification: If you have been outbid on an item you will be notified via the provided email and within your bidder dashboard notifications. In the upper right hand corner of your page there is a bell and an envelope. Information will also be sent there.

Winning Bidder Notification: If you are the winning bidder on an item you will be notified via the provided email and within your bidder dashboard notifications. In the upper right hand corner of your page there is a bell and an envelope. Information will also be sent there. At the close of the auction and itemized invoice will be sent to the email Candoo has on file.

PLEASE NOTE: All Credit Cards will be charged at the close of the auction. An email and invoice will be sent at the closing of each auction with a detailed summary of your winnings and a balance reflecting zero. If you are the successful bidder and the auctioneer doesn't receive payment due to a card being declined you will be notified immediately and have until 9am the following morning to rectify the invalid card. Failure to do so will result in having all bidding rights blocked.

Staggered Closing: Starting with lot#1, the online auction will close 5 items every 3 minutes. This feature is to ensure that you can effectively bid on numerous items in the auction. If an item receives a bid within 5 minutes of the items ending the item will be extended 3 additional minutes.

Preview: Online Auctions are fun and convenient. Be prepared that often the pictures do not do an item justice. We invite everyone who wishes to do so to set up a preview in the allotted preview window time in order to truly get the value of the items being listed.
