MORE ABOUT THIS HOME

This iconic home in Lincoln Terrace is a standout example of Mediterranean Spanish-style architecture, with a white stucco exterior, red-tiled roof, and a two-story gabled wing. Located at Lincoln and 18th, its block-long white retaining wall is a familiar sight for those driving toward the Capitol. Built in 1928 by Oklahoma City industrialist Louis Macklanburg, it offers stunning views of the Capitol’s dome and the Devon tower.

In 1974, impresario Vinita Cravens, known for bringing Broadway shows to Oklahoma City, purchased the home and hosted stars like Lauren Bacall, Harry Belafonte, Carol Channing, and Elvis Presley. A Hollywood vanity was reportedly added for Channing. Recently, the home has been used for fundraising and political events, including those for two presidential nominees. Inside the home, in addition to hand painted murals along exposed beams and closet doors, are countless treasures procured by the home's recent owner, Sidney A. Musser, Jr.
