Swan Estate Sales

The remains of one of the largest decorative arts collections in the United States was stored in a warehouse in Oklahoma City.  The warehouse was an industrial printing facility of a world renowned collector, creator, and business man.  His business at one point was  the world’s leading manufacturer of decals,  It also held exclusive worldwide contracts for security badges, manufactured photo booths people used at fairs, and manufactured license plates  His business acumen funded a collection of staggering proportions.  After closing his business in the 1980’s,  the family  « warehoused »   antiques in the old business facility.   Caravans of trucks were loaded for auction in the early 1990s for what become one of the largest private decorative arts auctions.   BUT,  Not everything was discovered nor removed., and the family added items to the warehouse.

What we have is two tremendous sales in one building.  The original printing facility from the 1940’s  with a Heidelberg printing press, Chandler Price Platen press, and, rooms of letterpress from small to large, metal, and wood. Hamilton drafting table.  Steel and iron work benches,  lighting,  Industrial presses, gears, HUGE presses, drills... it was a working printing shop.   There are the items they made like decals, and stamps and license plates, as well and the materials to make them with brass, aluminum, steel..  All perfect for the Industrial Modern Rehab, Restore or Révision project

The 2nd sale is the remains of the Antique collection.  Chinese Wedding bed, French Boulle desk, Spanish dining set, Ebony, Clocks, Quimper, Paintings,  Russian silver, Coins.

We have had some friends in the business walk through with us, and they all agree it’s amazing.   We will do sales over the phone when doors open.  If you have questions, give us a call.   Yes we can arrange shipping or delivery on most items
