Retired Doctor who traveled the world is downsizing. House was beautifully decorated in the 1970s with top of the line furniture and artwork and then the family’s attention turned elsewhere. The library contains three shelves of World War I and II books, a single shelf just on Abraham Lincoln, several books about the American West and encyclopaedias (dated 1975 of course). Bring a paper bag and stuff as many books as you can for 25 dollars.
Vintage furniture including Rattan bookshelves valued at over 2000 dollars on 1stDibs, priced to sell for 150 dollars. Artwork includes signed lithographs by Salvador Dali, Picasso, Peter Max, all priced way below market prices. Trinkets from travels to the four corners of the Earth including a 6 foot wooden giraffe from South Africa, chopsticks from Japan and carved wood from Puerto Rica. The gentleman is most interested in items going to people who will appreciate them than making lots of money. This goal is in line with the way he ran his practice where he was known to accept pie for payment of services.
