Description & Details

BLUE VELVET SOFA.  Ca. 1985.  Drexel sofa, tuxedo style with rolled arms.  Original, upholstery. Condition: structurally good.  Upholstery clean but does show age.  Well-cared for.

PAIR OF CREWEL WING CHAIRS, BLUES/WHITE; HICKORY, CHAIR, CA. 1985.  Purchased to group with blue velvet sofa.  Gorgeous crewel fabric.  Structurally sound in every way.  Each chair has a spot on the back that must be rewoven using arm-cover fabric, but this does not show from the front.

TAPESTRY CHAIRS.   Ca 1985, when Woodmark was a premiere maker of chairs.   Pair of Woodmark lounge chairs upholstered in beautiful tapestry predominantly teal blue.  Can be grouped with blue velvet sofa and/or crewel chairs.  Recovered once.  Down back cushions.  Condition:  Good with the following exception: center springs might be more comfortable if re-tied.  Construction is solid.  Tapestry is unsoiled.

BEDROOM FURNITURE.  Thomasville double bed headboard and footboard, dresser with mirror, night stand, ca. 1963.  Light brown, faux distressed.  Bought by my parents, passed to me, last used by my daughter.  Condition: very good.  Mattress and box springs included.  Most comfortable bed in the house.

BENCH.  Mahogany bench, square fluted legs, soft taupe leopard upholstery that matches Braddington Recliner, easy to recover.  Hand-made.  Condition:  fair to good

DESK.  Grandma’s desk.  Mahogany.  Curved front.  Leg opening with 2 banks of drawers on either side.  Small.  Great apartment size and very pretty.  Condition:  fair-good.

KITCHEN TABLE/4 CHAIRS.  Ca. 1990.  Round, aproned kitchen table.  Center oak post.  Approx. 42” diameter.  2 aproned leaves.  Heavy woodgrain laminate table surface, so great for families.  Includes 4 oak Windsor chairs.  Good-excellent condition.

3 SETS, MATCHING BOOK SHELVES.  Ca. 2012.  Dark brown wood.  Approx. 23” wide. Easily grouped, or separated and used in multiple locations.  Style is very transitional.  Condition:  excellent.

ANTIQUE SIDEBOARD.  Purchased mid-1970s in Central Texas antique store.  Two shelves with beveled mirrors.  Ornamented front doors and 2 drawers.  Bonnet detaches.  Condition:  solid construction.  Re-finish if desired or simply keep oiled, as I have done.  No distracting damage. 

PAIR OF GREEN LUSTRES, ACCENTED WITH GOLD.  Flawless green lustres with 8 prisms each and gold detail.  Ebay prices from $400-$1,000.

STICKLEY CAMELBACK SOFA, LEATHER AND FABRIC.  Southwest Collection.  Purchased from Joseph Winan in 2007.  Combines brown leather, embossed brown leather, and fabric with 4 matching pillows and two oblong pillows at the arms.  Purchase price at $8000.00.  Stickley company suggested resale at $4000.00

STICKLEY DEMI-LUNE MATCHING OTTOMAN/COFFEE TABLE, BROWN LEATHER.  Southwest Collection.  Purchased from Joseph Winan in 2007 to match sofa.  Brown leather.  Purchase price at $4000.00.  Stickley company suggested resale at $1600.00

 

BRADDINGTON YOUNG WING CHAIR RECLINER.  Upholstered in soft taupe leopard fabric, velveteen for hearty wear.  Condition:  excellent.

HICKORY TAVERN II WING CHAIR.  Ca. 1990.  Upholstered in gold chenille fabric.  Very comfortable for sitting, reading, and conversation.  Condition:  Good.  Construction is solid.  Upholstery is clean.

PAIR OF END TABLES.  Matching mahogany end tables.  Inlay on surface.  Queen Anne shaped leg, but not ornate.

6-PIECE SILVER COFFEE & TEA SERVICE.  Coffee, tea, sugar, creamer, crumber, large tray (heavy).  Silver on copper.  Birmingham Silver Company of Brooklyn, NY and later Yalesville, CT.  The company was the successor to the Gofeder Silver Co., founded by Sol Goldfeder in 1932.  The company became Birmingham Silver Co. sometime before 1957.  The marks of the company include a “puffy” crown, BSC in gothic capitals, and “Silver on Copper”.  They made high quality silverplate, much of it in an English style.  (internet 925-1000.com)  ebay price range to $810.00. 

ASSORTED WALL ART, SOME ANTIQUE.

SET BLUE WILLOW DISHES.  Johnson Brothers. Service for 12, includes dinner, salad, cup, saucer, bread and butter, fruit bowls, soup/cereal bowls and a few service pieces.  A few chipped plates. 

PRIMITVE OAK SIDE-BOARD.  Tiger oak.  Very solid.  Condition:  good. 

 

ELECTRIC MOBILITY CART.  Brand:  Golden.  Purchased in Medford for grandma and used for about 6 months.  Charger, basket for handle bars, accessories to make red, silver, or blue included.  Very little use and like new.

Front View of Stickley Sofa and Demilune.  Amazing workmanship and quality.  Sofa is 100" long.  Stickley Southwest Collection Camelback Sofa with Demilune.  Dining Table and Chairs.  Top is laminated to protect from those family spills!Two Woodmark Tapestry upholstered chairs.  May need some support of the seat springs, but fabric is durable and beautiful with a sailing motif.  Drexel Blue Velvet Sofa.  Great condition and looks wonderful.  Two Hickory Wing Chairs.  Crewel is fabulous Tree of Life sewn into the fabric.  Antique Sideboard with detachable mirror.  Also pictured are two green antique lustres.  Cut glass not for sale.
