Some homes hold furniture. Some homes hold stories.

This is a big one — and the more we uncover, the more it feels like wandering through a few decades of everyday American life.

There are walls covered in an incredible collection of vintage copper molds — rabbits, fish, fruit, flowers, stars, hearts and shapes you probably haven't seen hanging in a kitchen since Grandma's house. There are old hanging scales that once weighed who-knows-what, a beautiful balance scale with its weights still sitting beside it, vintage advertising pieces, glass jars, artwork, lamps and curiosities tucked into seemingly every corner.

Then you spot the old IBM CRT monitor and suddenly you're remembering when computers took up half the desk and made noises before they did anything.

That's the fun of this house.

It's not one collection. It's collection after collection.

Vintage kitchenware and copper. Old tools and garage finds. Artwork on wood. Advertising pieces and old clips. Glassware. Furniture. Clothing that's been carefully tucked away. Vintage lighting. Household goods. Fishing gear. Scales and measuring equipment. Decorative pieces, oddities and those wonderful little things that are almost impossible to describe but somehow end up going home with you.

And we're still working our way through it.

This is the kind of estate sale where you'll want to slow down and actually look. Open your eyes, check the corners and look up at the walls, because there's a lot here — and some of the best finds aren't necessarily the biggest ones.

Maybe you'll find something you remember from your childhood.

Maybe you'll find something your grandparents had.

Or maybe you'll find something you've never seen before and decide it needs to come home with you anyway.

Either way, come spend a little time with yesterday.
