This lot features an original work of art by listed artist, Garry Knox Bennett. This piece is a uniquely designed humidor, signed by Bennett underneath circa 1997. This piece measures, 10” H x 11” W x 9” D. Born in Alameda, California, Garry Knox Bennett is a self-taught studio furniture maker who uses traditional fine woodworking techniques for both synthetic and natural materials. He attended the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland from 1959 to 1962 and then worked as a metal sculptor.

"Smoke Dreams", a hand-signed lithograph by listed artist, Alberto Vargas. Professionally framed and measures in frame, 12.75” H x 9.75” W. Vargas was a prominent 20th-century illustrator known for his sensual pin-up girl paintings that appeared in magazines like Esquire and Playboy. "Smoke Dreams" is one of the artist’s favorite works from the 1920s.

Born in Alameda, California, Garry Knox Bennett is a self-taught studio furniture maker who uses traditional fine woodworking techniques for both synthetic and natural materials. He attended the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland from 1959 to 1962 and then worked as a metal sculptor.
