Dean Santner (b. 1946, Cleveland, Ohio) is an acclaimed American woodworker and industrial designer, renowned for his California mid-century modern studio craft. Kawase Hasui (1883–1957) was the foremost landscape artist of the shin-hanga ("new prints") movement. Renowned for his serene, atmospheric scenes of snow, rain, and moonlight, he designed approximately 620 woodblock prints over his 40-year career. In 1956, the Japanese government honored him as a Living National Treasure. $5,000 reserve.
