Description & Details

Welcome to this one-day sale and free event!! The sale includes beautiful and useful items left behind at the farmhouse after a client's recent downsizing move across the country and also the fun contents of a mostly 70s time capsule storage unit from another client's parents and grandparents (her grandfather was Glenn Jackson, an Oregon icon!). I've also included a few items from other clients. (I am thankful to Barbara, my new friend, for allowing me to "set up shop" here while her house is in escrow.)

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • There will be no sales or entrance into the farmhouse, shop, or "Freeport" until 10. However, due to limited parking on the road, we will open the gate at 9:30. You are welcome to drive in and park (and turn off your engine!), and walk around or sit in the shade until 10!
  • The sale runs from 10-6 on Saturday, August 3, only. From 5-6, most of the sale items left will be 50% off or free! Also, you will be required to pay when you exit both the farmhouse and the shop as they are separate from each other, and we only have a few helpers. Thank you for your understanding!

INSIDE THE FARMHOUSE, you will find a curated selection of sale items. After helping my client/friend move, I was tasked with getting the house ready for sale and showings, so I moved most everything into the shop and left the house "show ready." Now that the house is on contract, I've moved a few items back in, but am still keeping it ready-to-show inside. Items you will find include the following mostly collectible and antique items or like-new items in great condition (a few of the larger items listed at the top are also listed online as I need to make sure they sell--if interested, you may email me to see if still available):

  • Two different antique hutches/sideboards
  • Two different antique dining sets (one pedestal table without chairs, another larger pedestal table with leaves/chairs)
  • A comfortable Flexsteel sofa/hide-a-bed in like-new condition
  • A queen Tempurpedic mattress/boxspring set
  • A beautiful Mission-style headboard and footboard with nightstands (will sell separately if interest)
  • An endearing mid-century rattan saucer chair
  • A working antique Sessions mantle clock
  • Art, including: original by James Northcote (Am, 1822-1904), original by Eugene Bennett, and signed print by E. Bennett
  • Collectible kitchenware and dining ware, including: Bauer, Berggren, Pyrex, Fostoria, Rosenthal, Arabia of Finland
  • Small appliances: microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker, food processor, etc.
  • Collectibles, including: Goula Spain miniatures, Delft pottery, Dala horses, MCM candlesticks
  • A Baby Taylor guitar
  • Record albums
  • Collectible books, including: Dawson Birds of California, Audubon, Gould, Jerusalem Bible/Dali illust, Ants, and a collection of vintage cookbooks

  • A ResMed CPAP machine
  • A Cutie Quilting Frame, Sure Stitch, and Laser
  • A small curated selection of clothing and textiles

IN THE LARGE ENCLOSED SHOP behind the house and next to the "freeport," you will find many more collectibles (most from the 70s storage unit), and also a large selection of miscellaneous household and hardware items, including:

  • Schuco vintage racecars
  • Vintage radios and clocks
  • Vintage stationery
  • Old bottles and metal tins

  • Folk art
  • Kitchenware and appliances
  • A Shark SP1000 and supplies
  • Antique dining chairs (that need to be recaned)
  • A Haworth chair
  • Mobility aids and adaptive utensils
  • A teleprompter
  • Art and sewing supplies
  • A floor jack and tow hitch

Last but not least, INSIDE THE THREE-CAR "FREEPORT," is a large collection of items that aren't easy to donate after a move, such as a lot of cleaning supplies and health and beauty aids! There's also a very large selection of still-useful items that you might ordinarily see at a sale, but I'm learning it isn't worth my time to price everything, and more importantly, I want these still-useful things to stay in circulation rather than end up in the trash. So they are... FREE! Books, magazines, Pyrex, Tupperware, cookware, kitchen misc, working Hoover vacuum (from the 70s unit!), office supplies, greeting cards, holiday, craft, sewing, plastic bins, newer ironing boards, misc household, misc hardware and sporting goods, electronics, lawn and garden, mostly women's clothing and shoes, and more! ALL FREE!!! (There are empty boxes, bags, and plastic bins you can use to "shop," or you can bring your own bag.)

There is also a free piano in the barn, and some free items in the greenhouse! (Please email me at debi@debworks.org or see me in the shop if you have questions on these items!)
