1. Binding Agreement

By registering for, bidding in, or purchasing from an auction conducted by Aeron House, LLC (?Aeron House, ? ?we, ? or ?us?), the bidder or buyer agrees to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions.

These Terms apply across all bidding platforms used by Aeron House, including LiveAuctioneers, HiBid, BidSpirit, and any other online, absentee, telephone, email, or in-person bidding method.

If a bidding platform imposes additional terms, the bidder is also responsible for complying with those terms.



2. Bidder Inspection, Photographs, Cataloging, and Authentication

Important Notice Before Bidding

Aeron House makes reasonable efforts to identify and describe each lot accurately. However, titles and descriptions may contain errors, omissions, estimates, opinions, or AI-assisted information and are provided as general cataloging aids only.

BIDDERS MUST REVIEW ALL PHOTOGRAPHS AND VERIFY ALL MATERIAL DETAILS BEFORE BIDDING, including, but not limited to:

Signatures and autographs
Authentication and attribution
Maker, artist, manufacturer, or signer
Dates and years
Condition
Measurements and scale
Quantities and counts
Completeness
Models, editions, variations, and serial numbers
Identifying marks, labels, certificates, and accessories
Photographs form an important part of the lot information. Bidders must consider the photographs together with the title and description and must contact Aeron House before bidding if any information appears inconsistent, uncertain, incomplete, or requires clarification.

Failure to inspect the photographs, request additional information, or ask questions before bidding does not invalidate a sale.



Changes to Lot Information Before Live Bidding

Changes to published lot information are uncommon. However, Aeron House may occasionally need to revise, correct, supplement, replace, or remove a lot?s title, description, photographs, condition information, measurements, quantities, authentication information, estimates, or other catalog details after the auction has been published.



Such changes may be made at any time between the initial publication of the auction and the time the affected lot opens for live bidding.

Bidders are responsible for reviewing each lot?s complete and current listing?including all photographs, titles, descriptions, notices, and other available information?immediately before the lot goes live. Placement of an absentee or advance bid does not relieve the bidder of this responsibility.

If information for a lot changes after an absentee or advance bid has been placed, the bidder may retract or modify that bid before the lot opens for live bidding, subject to the applicable bidding platform?s procedures.



If the platform does not permit the bidder to modify or retract the bid directly, the bidder must contact Aeron House sufficiently in advance of the lot going live so the request can reasonably be reviewed and processed.



Once the lot opens for live bidding, all existing and subsequent bids are binding and may not be cancelled or retracted. Failure to review an updated listing before the lot goes live does not invalidate a bid or completed sale.



Aeron House may also announce material corrections or changes before or while a lot is offered. Any announcement made before the lot closes becomes part of the lot information and supersedes inconsistent prior catalog information.



Authentication and Attribution

Unless the lot specifically states that an item or signature has been authenticated or certified by a named third-party service?such as JSA, PSA/DNA, Beckett, CGC, or another specifically identified service?the item or signature must be considered UNAUTHENTICATED.

The appearance of a person?s, artist?s, athlete?s, author?s, manufacturer?s, or other name in a title or description identifies the represented or believed attribution for cataloging purposes. It does not, by itself, constitute independent authentication or a guarantee that the signature, attribution, or item is genuine.



A certificate, authentication label, serial number, letter of authenticity, or other documentation is included only when it is specifically stated or clearly shown in the photographs. Bidders must not assume that authentication documentation is included.

Unless expressly guaranteed in writing by Aeron House, bidders are responsible for making their own determination regarding authenticity and attribution before bidding.



Condition, Counts, and Measurements

Condition reports, counts, dimensions, and other details represent good-faith observations and may not identify every defect, repair, alteration, missing component, or variation.

Variations caused by lighting, photography, display settings, perspective, or the absence of a scale reference are not grounds for cancellation or return.



3. Buyer?s Premium, Fees, and Taxes

A 25% Buyer?s Premium is added to all hammer prices.
Applicable sales tax will be collected unless a valid exemption is submitted and accepted.
Platform, payment-processing, shipping, insurance, handling, packaging, storage, and other disclosed charges may apply.
Buyer?s premiums, platform charges, processing fees, handling charges, and specialized packaging charges are non-refundable except where required by law.


4. As-Is, Where-Is; No Guarantees

All items are sold:

AS IS, WHERE IS, WITH ALL FAULTS

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aeron House makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding:

Authenticity or attribution
Age, origin, or provenance
Condition or grading
Completeness
Functionality
Merchantability
Fitness for a particular purpose
Future eligibility for authentication, certification, or grading
The absence of a defect or condition issue from the title, description, or photographs does not mean that no such defect or issue exists.



5. Auction Conduct and Bidding Authority

Aeron House reserves the right to:

Approve, reject, suspend, or revoke bidder registration
Reject or cancel any bid
Advance, reopen, or extend bidding
Resolve bidding disputes
Withdraw, combine, divide, or reoffer any lot
Cancel or void a transaction resulting from an error
Take any other reasonable action necessary to conduct the auction fairly
Off-Platform and Discretionary Bidding

Aeron House may:

Accept bids by telephone, email, absentee bid, in person, or through another bidding platform
Enter accepted bids into the auction
Accept offers or bids outside a particular platform where permitted
Reconcile bidding results between multiple platforms
Clerking and Finality

A bidder is not considered the final winning bidder until:

The auction or lot has closed;
Aeron House has reconciled the results from all applicable bidding sources; and
The lot has been officially clerked and invoiced.
Aeron House?s clerking and transaction records control in the event of a discrepancy.



6. Platform Disclaimer

Bidding platforms act as intermediaries and provide bidding, invoicing, communication, or payment services.

The purchase transaction is between the bidder and Aeron House.

Aeron House is not responsible for:

Platform outages or errors
Delayed, duplicated, missed, or failed bids
Internet or device failures
Synchronization issues between platforms
Platform-generated notices or estimated shipping charges
Delays caused by third-party payment or shipping systems


7. Registration and Bidder Responsibility

Registration approval is at Aeron House?s sole discretion, subject to applicable law and platform policies.

Aeron House may require:

Identity verification
Address verification
References
Proof of available funds
A deposit
A specific form of payment
Bidders are responsible for all bids and other activity conducted through their accounts. Allowing another person to use an account does not relieve the registered bidder of responsibility.

The bidder must maintain accurate contact, billing, shipping, and payment information.



8. Payment Terms and Authorization to Charge Card

Payment Due Date

Payment is due immediately when the auction invoice is issued.

Items will not be released, shipped, or made available for pickup until all required auction charges have cleared and any applicable shipping, handling, packaging, storage, or pickup requirements have been satisfied.

Card-on-File Authorization

By registering and bidding, the bidder authorizes Aeron House and, where applicable, its bidding platform or payment processor to charge any valid credit or debit card maintained on file for amounts due under the auction invoice.

If an auction invoice remains unpaid three calendar days after the auction ends, Aeron House may attempt to charge the card on file without additional approval, where permitted by the applicable platform, payment processor, and law.

A declined or failed payment does not extend the payment deadline or relieve the bidder of responsibility for the invoice.

High-Value Payment Requirements

Transactions under $7,500 may generally be paid by credit card.
Transactions of $7,500 or more may require ACH or wire transfer.
Transactions of $15,000 or more require wire transfer unless Aeron House approves another method in writing.
Aeron House may determine the acceptable payment method for any transaction based on value, risk, bidder history, location, or other reasonable considerations.



9. Right to Refuse Payment Methods

Aeron House may refuse any particular payment method, including credit cards, and require payment by ACH, wire transfer, certified funds, or another approved method.

Failure to complete payment using the required method may result in:

Cancellation of the sale
Withholding of merchandise
Revocation of bidding privileges
A non-payment dispute
Reporting to bidding platforms
Collection activity


10. Late Payment, Non-Payment, and Bidder Responsibility

The bidder is solely responsible for monitoring and paying all auction, shipping, handling, packaging, storage, and related invoices by their respective deadlines.

The bidder?s responsibility is not dependent upon receiving a reminder from Aeron House.

Aeron House may attempt to contact a bidder by telephone, text message, email, platform message, or another method. Such contact is a courtesy and is not a condition of enforcement.

If an auction invoice remains unpaid three calendar days after the auction ends:

Aeron House may charge the card on file;
A one-time $25 late-payment administrative fee may be added to the unpaid invoice;
A non-payment dispute may be initiated with the bidding platform;
Bidding privileges may be suspended or revoked; and
Aeron House may pursue other remedies permitted under these Terms and applicable law.
The $25 late-payment administrative fee is intended to offset the administrative costs associated with failed payment attempts, account review, bidder communications, bookkeeping, and non-payment dispute processing. The fee will not be assessed more than once per auction invoice.

The bidder remains responsible for payment even if:

A payment attempt is declined;
The bidder does not receive or review an invoice;
Emails or messages are filtered, blocked, or sent to spam;
The bidder?s contact or payment information is outdated; or
Aeron House does not make direct contact with the bidder.
If the auction invoice remains unpaid after 20 calendar days, the transaction may be cancelled, the items may be forfeited or resold, and any non-payment dispute may remain permanently recorded on the bidder?s platform profile, subject to the platform?s rules.

The bidder may also remain responsible for actual collection costs and other amounts recoverable under applicable law.



11. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute, the bidder agrees to contact Aeron House and provide a reasonable opportunity to investigate and respond.

A bidder may not use a chargeback to avoid:

A valid and authorized purchase
Buyer?s remorse
Failure to inspect photographs
Failure to comply with shipping or pickup requirements
A disagreement covered by the disclosed auction terms
Nothing in this section waives rights that cannot legally be waived.

If an improper or fraudulent chargeback is initiated, Aeron House may:

Contest the chargeback
Provide the bidder?s registration, bidding, invoice, payment, communication, and shipping records
Recover amounts legally due
Recover legally permitted collection expenses and costs
Revoke bidding privileges
Report the matter to applicable bidding platforms
The bidder consents to the jurisdiction and venue provisions stated in these Terms.



12. Shipping Invoices and Shipping Saint

Auction purchases and shipping charges are generally billed separately.

The initial auction invoice ordinarily includes:

Hammer prices
Buyer?s Premium
Applicable taxes
Platform or payment charges
Any packaging charge added directly to the auction invoice
For orders handled through Shipping Saint, the buyer will generally receive a separate shipping invoice covering some or all of the following:

Postage or carrier charges
Insurance
Handling
Packing materials
Specialized packaging
Other shipping-related services
Payment of the auction invoice does not constitute payment of the Shipping Saint invoice.

The bidder is responsible for reviewing prior text messages, emails, and other communications for the Shipping Saint payment link and for contacting Aeron House if the shipping invoice is not received.



13. Shipping, Risk, Insurance, and Claims

Unless another arrangement is approved in writing, shipping is coordinated in-house through Shipping Saint.

Shipping, insurance, handling, and packaging charges are the buyer?s responsibility.

Transfer of Risk

Title and risk of loss transfer to the buyer upon tender or delivery of the package to the carrier, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

Insurance and Claims

Shipping claims are subject to the applicable carrier?s and insurer?s rules, deadlines, exclusions, and documentation requirements.

The buyer must:

Inspect the package promptly upon delivery;
Preserve the item, packaging, labels, and packing materials;
Photograph any damage;
Notify Aeron House and the applicable carrier or claims administrator promptly; and
Cooperate with all claim-documentation requirements.
Aeron House may assist with a claim when reasonably possible but does not guarantee approval, reimbursement, timing, or the outcome of any carrier or insurance claim.



14. Handling and Specialized Packaging Charges

A standard handling charge may be applied to cover labor, ordinary packing materials, processing, and logistics.

Larger, unusually shaped, heavy, delicate, framed, glass-covered, or otherwise difficult-to-ship items may require specialized packaging or materials. Examples include:

Large framed artwork
Mirrors or items containing glass
Oversized memorabilia
Fragile display cases
Custom boxes
Foam board, corner protection, reinforced cartons, or crating
A specialized packaging charge may be added to either the auction invoice or the separate Shipping Saint invoice.

When a bidder is concerned about whether a lot will require specialized packaging, the bidder must contact Aeron House before bidding. Aeron House may provide a good-faith estimate, but final charges may depend upon the materials and labor required after the item is packed.



15. Pickup, Shipping Completion, Storage, and Forfeiture

All purchases must be paid, shipped, or picked up within 20 calendar days after the auction.

This 20-day deadline applies separately to:

Payment of the auction invoice;
Payment of the Shipping Saint invoice;
Completion of pickup arrangements; and
Payment of packaging, handling, storage, or other related charges.
Paying the auction invoice alone does not extend the deadline or preserve the buyer?s right to the items indefinitely.

If a buyer pays the auction invoice but does not pay the shipping invoice or complete pickup within 20 calendar days, the items may be treated as abandoned or forfeited, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

After the 20-day deadline, Aeron House may:

Cancel the transaction;
Treat the property as abandoned;
Return the property to the consignor;
Resell or otherwise dispose of the property;
Retain or apply proceeds toward storage, handling, resale, administrative, or other amounts due; and
Refuse any refund of amounts previously paid.
Aeron House is not required to provide additional notice beyond invoices or communications sent to the contact information associated with the bidder?s account, except where applicable law requires otherwise.



16. Returns, Bid Retractions, and Cancellations

Except for a timely retraction or modification of an absentee or advance bid permitted under Section 2 before the lot opens for live bidding, all bids are binding and all sales are final.

Once a lot opens for live bidding, existing and subsequent bids may not be cancelled or retracted.

Bids, purchases, and completed sales may not be cancelled or returned because of:

Buyer?s remorse
Condition disagreements
Failure to inspect photographs
Failure to review an updated listing before the lot opens for live bidding
Failure to read the title, description, notices, or Terms
Failure to ask questions before bidding
A change in the bidder?s circumstances
Shipping, handling, packaging, insurance, tax, or pickup costs
Any return accepted by Aeron House is discretionary unless otherwise required by law.

An approved discretionary return:

May be subject to a 20% restocking fee;
Must be authorized in advance;
Must be returned by the stated deadline;
Must be received in the same condition; and
May exclude non-refundable premiums, platform charges, processing fees, shipping, handling, insurance, and packaging costs.


17. Clerical and Catalog Errors

Aeron House may correct, cancel, or void a listing, invoice, bid, or sale affected by:

A clerical or typographical error
A material cataloging error
Incorrect photographs
A platform or software error
Duplicate or mismatched lots
Incorrect bidding data
A material error in clerking or invoicing
Any remedy will be determined by Aeron House based on the circumstances and applicable law.



18. Prohibited Conduct

The following conduct is prohibited:

Bid rigging
Collusion
Manipulation of bidding
Fraudulent registration
Use of false payment or identity information
Harassment or threats
Improper chargebacks
Interference with an auction or another bidder
Attempts to circumvent platform or auction rules
Violations may result in cancellation, banning, platform reporting, collection activity, or legal action.



19. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aeron House is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from:

Cataloging errors
Condition or attribution disputes
Platform failures
Bid transmission failures
Shipping delays, loss, or damage
Carrier or insurer actions
Third-party authentication or grading decisions
The resale value or future market value of an item
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.



20. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms and all transactions with Aeron House are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

To the extent permitted by law, any legal action relating to an auction or purchase must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Pennsylvania.



21. Final Acceptance

By registering, bidding, or purchasing, the bidder confirms that the bidder:

Has read and understood these Terms;
Has reviewed the available photographs and current lot information;
Understands that published lot information may occasionally be updated before live bidding;
Accepts the risks associated with bidding;
Understands that unauthenticated items are not guaranteed authentic;
Accepts all payment, shipping, packaging, pickup, storage, dispute, and forfeiture policies;
Authorizes permitted card-on-file payment attempts; and
Agrees to be legally bound by these Terms.


22. Customer Experience and Communication

Aeron House is committed to providing a fair, transparent, and professional auction experience.

Questions about a lot, authentication, payment, specialized packaging, shipping, or pickup should be raised as early as possible. Questions concerning a lot should be submitted before bidding.
