Nice Moving/Downsizing Sale coming to 116 Carey Hill Rd, Th-Fri 9/28-9/29

Hello Friends!  We are going to have our next sale in the village of Farragut. The address is 116 Carey Hill Rd, Montoursville, PA.    Just north of Montoursville on Pa State Rt 87, you will want to exit onto Carey Hill Rd just past the Eder’s Ice Cream Store.  This sale is less than a ¼ mile from the entrance of Carey Hill and is over on the right hand side.  You will see a number indicator for the driveway. Please follow the direction of the person at the end of the drive to see if you can park close to the home.    While we have some great news about the items we will have at this sale, we do have to warn you to be prepared to walk a little unless you have problems walking hills.  We have limited parking for about 5 vehicles at the home at any one time and ask that any able bodied person please park on Carey Hill Rd and walk to the sale or get dropped off at the beginning of the driveway and walk to the home.   Since that was the bad news, we did have lots of good news about what you can expect to see inside!   This sale is slated to begin on Thursday, September 28, 2023 and end Friday, September 29, 2023.  Hours will be Thursday 9am-3pm and Friday 9am-2pm.  We will only be open on Saturday if necessary.  Stay tuned to our Facebook Page and Website to see if we will have Saturday Hours.   Even though we have an official starting time of 9am, we will let people in around 8:30 if we have people in line.  

First of all, the furniture and furnishings in this home are beautiful.  From Ethan Allen chests, to the La-Z-Boy sofa and matching recliner, this home is very nice and we are sure you will want to add some of these furniture items to your home.   On the ground floor we have a nice Smaller foot print Maple 2 Piece Hutch, a Leather Love Seat being sold “as is”,  and an Electric powered Recliner Rocker unit.   On the lower level there is an older style knee hole desk with built-in typewriter, we also have a modern green glass computer desk for the modern home décor.  There are two woodgrain storage and bookshelf units downstairs along with an entertainment stand, two black 2 drawer metal file cabinets.  Upstairs on the 1^st floor we also have a nice Oak Glider Rocker with matching ottoman and Oak stereo cabinet with glass doors.  Upstairs in furniture we have a great selection of Ethan Allen furniture pieces including a very nice white desk set with hide-a-way work surface allowing you to place what you are working on out of view or flip it up with a mirror and use the desk part as a Vanity.   It also features a 5 drawer chest with shelf unit above.  In another room upstairs, we have a very nice Ethan Allen Hard Rock Maple Desk set with chair, several Ethan Allen Cabinets and chests and bookshelves making it an excellent addition for a boy’s room.  There are also matching maple Nightstand/Storage pieces as well.  We also have a gorgeous Ethan Allen Hard Rock Maple Dresser with Mirror and a separate Wall Mirror with an Eagle Finial.   We also have a Brass Eagle wooden lamp with table,

Household and décor items:  On the ground floor we have primitive items such as a punched tin small lamps and wax melt warmers, Hand Painted Cat from Japan stars, Cosco small step stool (we have a three step small ladder upstairs), Princess House Footed Glass Bowl in the heritage pattern, Rugs and runners,  some Halloween and fall décor items,  handmade pins, Stained Glass Sun Catchers, Tom Clark Gnomes, Oriental Figurines, brass spittoon, Jim Beam Auto Bottles,  adorable USMC Birdhouse,  Native American Adobe art including a nice Building Diorama, Limited Edition Bird Prints, over 400 Cat’s meows buildings and accessory pieces, Oak TV Trays, 6 sided end tables with built-in storage.  On the 1^st floor we have Christmas Items galore, from older ornaments featuring Stencil and Shapes, a few Byers Choice Dolls, Snowmen and Santa items, vintage West German Spinner Ornaments, adorable Plus Animals and Dolls including Steiff Bears,  Lid Lift Step Trashcan,  Pots and Pans, Blue Enamel Roaster,

In Clothing items we have lots of ladies gloves and scarves just in time for the colder weather, Woolrich Jacket, a very nice selection of ladies clothing mostly size large and new shoes and boots with great brand names.    We also have a very nice selection of women’s purses and bags.

We have brought in some adorable plush animals and other vintage toy figurines and lots of monkeys, we also have a number of brand name dolls for sale too!  Some of the dolls will have their original boxes, but not all the dolls.  We also brought in nautical décor items to add to your collection. 

In the garage area of the home we have box lots, cleaning supplies, a nice pair of Infinity Reference Speakers (2000.1) , a Hoover Carpet and Rug Cleaner with upholstery attachments, Plastic Shelves, Plastic Tote Bins, Vizio and Panasonic Flat Panel TV’s, Large Craftsman Wet Dry Vacuum, a nice Maple Painted Bench, rakes, shoves, some tools, Spreader, small extension ladder, garden chemicals, Log Rack, some wreaths, outdoor décor, Homelite Gas Powered Blower, Aluminum Step Ladder and so much more.    Plan this trip ahead of time.     

Once again, we appreciate our customers because we could not do these sales without you!  Your cooperation with us with regards to adhering to parking directions means the world to us.  Thank you in advance for any walking you may have to do to get this sale.  The neighbor and this home have beautiful lawns and we have to limit traffic in the area to ensure they stay looking that way.  If you are parking along Carey Hill, please be careful where you park, some areas have deep ditches.   We will try to mark some of the parking areas ahead of time along that road.  We will help you to your car with your items if you need us to.  You can pick up larger items or a great deal of items you may purchase by driving up to the garage to load them (it).  Once again, please listen to the person at the end of the drive to ensure your safe travel to and from the small parking area we have.
