Whole home estate sale 439 Fairfield Church Rd Montoursville Sept 12-13

Our next sale is coming the week of September 12th.  Beginning on Thursday, Sept 12 at 8:30am until 3pm and Friday September 13th at 8:30am until 2 pm, we are having a whole home estate sale at 439 Fairfield Church Rd in Montoursville.  This sale will consist of the 1 story ranch home with a finished basement as well as a two car garage area loaded with lots of great items and household goods.  We do not anticipate being open on Saturday at this sale.  We will have some on-site parking available for shoppers, and you can park off road if you can do so safely.  Please respect neighboring yards, mailboxes, and the solid white lines on the road to ensure you are parking legally if you are not parking on site.   We may also open early to ensure adequate parking on-site being available.  

Directions to the sale:   Go down I-180 and exit on exit 20 (Fairfield Rd.  Proceed south on Fairfield Rd to the Redlight at the intersection with Brushy Ridge Road.  Turn Left onto Brushy Ridge road and go under the overpass.  About 100 yards beyond the overpass, Fairfield Church Road will be your first right hand turn.  Turn Right and proceed up the hill and around the corner with the road continuing by the home we are selling out of.  We will have plenty of our green signs showing you the route, so be sure to check them out.

In this sale, you can expect to see great furniture items, household goods and more.   We even have a drop back trailer that will allow you to easily dump a load of brush, load a lawn mower, or just haul a good size load from one area to another.   For photos of what we have, please see below on our website or estatesales.net.   Here is a partial listing of items you can expect to see:

In furniture, we have several La-Z-Boy rocker recliners, a regular recliner, several coffee and end tables as well as stands.  There is a full size bed that is actually a part of a set of several pieces including a vanity.  Additional Pieces include a Vanity with Bench, Dresser with mirror, and chest.   All the pieces will be sold separately, but if you are interested in making an offer on all the pieces together, please feel free to make a reasonable offer for all the pieces.  We also have a nice twin size bed with a built-in shelf with the headboard.  In the basement we also have a full size hide-a-way sleeper inside a nice love seat.   In the basement we also have several chrome chairs, metal folding chairs, lamps, with built-in tables, and a metal desk.  In the dining room area there is a table with several leafs and 6 chairs and a beautiful matching hutch very reasonably priced.  In the same dining area there is a beautiful mahogany desk and a Bently Grandmother’s clock for sale! Throughout the home we have several smaller bookshelf units for sale.   There are several metal cabinets throughout the home and outside in the garage along with File Cabinets of various drawer sizes.  Outside, we have some nice wooden benches, vintage metal chairs on the front porch, and a nice round dining table with four metal chairs for sale on the patio.  

In household goods, we have pots, pans, roasters, cooking pots, Plastic Organizers galore, Bunn 12 Cup Coffee Maker, Serving Trays and TV Trays, Hand Painted Lamps, Satin Glass table lamps, Singer Table Top Sewing Machine, an Oak Jewelry Armoire, a very nice Kitchenaid Mixer, and an ironing board.  We also have nice Eureka “The Boss” vacuum Cleaner and a nice Dual V Steam Vac Carpet Cleaner.  There is also a vintage Tristar Canister Vacuum Cleaner. 

In collectibles, we have Pyrex Nesting Tulip bowls and other Pyrex casserole and serving pieces, Willowtree Angels, Vintage Christmas items, Green Depression Glassware, Pink Depression Biscuit Jar, Smiling Face Metal Trashcan, Fenton Carnival Compote, Williamsport Foundry Metal 75 Anniversary Plate, a large Jar of Marbles, Kimchee Stainless Steel Canister Set, Nice Vintage Copper Nesco Canner with lid, block planes, braces and an old milk can with lid. There is also a round Starburst Syroco Atomic era wall clock and 400lb Brass Meat Scale.  

There is also a large selection of mens and womens clothing of all sizes including shoes, boots, and jackets.  We also have a nice selection of ladies handbags and purses and we also have a nice selection of linens throughout the home.

In the garage, we have a number of hand tools in terms of Rakes, shovels, digging iron, Battery Charger, jumper cables,  snow shovels, trashcans, a wheel barrow, and more.   There is a Snapper self-propelled lawnmower, MTD 8HP 26” 2 Stage Snow Thower ready for the first snow, several spreaders, and a John Deer Riding mower we will be taking offers on.  We have a very nice Gas Grill and there are several lounge chairs and outdoor folding chairs with carry bags to surround the grill master while he or she is cooking,   We have an 8’ step ladder, a 6’ step ladder, and a small 3’ ladder, a Toro Lithium Blower with Charger, a Black and Decker LI weed trimmer with charger, and an electric as well as a battery charged hedge trimmer by Black and Decker, plenty of Auto, and Lawn/Garden fluids, chemicals and fertilizing items, a number of Harley Davidson Collectibles including Signage, Motorcycle accessories, and metal Motorcycle models,  two nice WWI era ammo boxes.  There is a nice smaller window air conditioner unit. We also brought in a nice Kenmore Sewing machine with cabinet for a very reasonable price.   While there a few tools in the Garage, most tools are in the basement. 

In the basement tool area, we have wrenches, pliers, screw drivers, a Crescent Socket set, power tools including a circular saw, jig saw, orbital sander, a table saw with plenty of blades, meat saws, hack saws, hand saws, and much more.  We also have a smaller 7’ pool table for a great price and it is relatively light and perfect for your basement game room. There is a pool table related items such as pool cues and billiard balls.  You will also find a number of fasteners, nails, and other items for your hardware needs!

In sporting goods, we have a nice paintball Gun with all the accessories.  We also have a lot in the way of Camo gear that is of differing sizes and none of these items are part of the last sale which was donated. 

In the garage we have a very large area of box lot items and we also have a similar area with tool related items in the basement area with box lots for you to go through as well.
