Massive Pyrex, Antique and Avon Estate Sale

This may be one of our most exciting Estate Sales ever!!!  

The PYREX

We have an awesome collection of Pyrex and other Corning Pieces.  Some of the Pyrex is very desirable.  To avoid the large crowds and chaos the occurs when we have items of this quality, we will be offering certain items in a manner different from the normal Estate Sale

We will offering the desirable pieces in a silent auction format.   (90% of the collection will be sold as part of the estate sale and will be subject to the normal estate sale pricing and policies)  I used this process once before for a rare corvette and it worked well.  This is the way it will work.  YOU DO NOT HAVE TO SHOW UP RIGHT AWAY.  All silent auction pieces will be available for viewing during the ENTIRE WEEKEND.  They will be designated in the description of the picture so make sure to look at the descriptions.   When you arrive, there will be a form with each of the silent auction items on it.  You will fill out the form, selecting the items you want an opportunity to bid on.  You will put your name, phone and email on the form.  You will also place your best bid for each item.  You may also place a bid for the entire silent auction collection.  Your bid for the entire collection must exceed the bids of each individual items to be considered.  You will have an opportunity to rebid like everyone else

At the end of the sale, I will start contacting everyone to ask if they want to place a bid higher than the highest bid I have.  I will start with the lowest initial bid to the highest.  Depending on the bidding I may go through the order more than once.  But there are no guarantees so make your best offer the first time.   If you are unable to make the sale and want to bid on the items, send me you email through this site and I will contact you.  All winners MUST pick up their items within 48 hours of the completion of the sale.  All sales will be CASH only.  Once the items are removed from the premise, there will be NO Refunds!!

There will be NO PRESALES, NO PREVIEWS, NO ANSWERING QUESTIONS ABOUT PRICES BEFORE THE SALE.

AGAIN, LET ME REPEAT - You do not have to be here early for the silent auction pieces.  

These pieces are not for the reseller.  They are for collectors only.  If I do not get a fair value for any of the items, I reserve the right not to sale that item. Almost all of the pieces are from my mother and grandparent's collection, so there is no hurry for me sell them or give them away at bargain prices.

ANTIQUES and Other items

As for the rest of the sale, we have some fabulous items.  There are very old local beer (Steel City, Monessen, Connellsville, Brownsville, Suter, and Tube City - McKeesport) and milk bottles (West Newton and Claysville), a nice tobacco cutter, a 3 legged, rat tail cast iron pot.  We have an album of reconnaissance photos from WWII.  There is some great advertising pieces including an original metal sign from West View Park.  We have an Antique Elk Hart brass fire nozzle, a large Copper pot, lots of pink depression glass and fisher price toys.   If you like Avon products, we have boxes of them.   There are some nice antique furniture pieces as well and as usual we have lots of tools upstair!!!.  The Antiques and other items in of it's self would make a great sale, adding the pyrex puts it off the charts.

Pictures will be added up to Friday at 6pm so check back often

1st set of pictures (475) added Tuesday at Noon.

2nd set of pictures (57) added Wednesday at 6:30pm

3rd set of pictures (122) added Thursday at 10:30pm

Final 12 Pictures added Friday at 5:00pm
