Cherry Chippendale style slant front desk. Drop front over four graduated drawers and ending in ogee bracket feet.
Drop opens to valanced pigeon holes and shell carved prospect door over bombe drawers. Refinished, missing pulls and strike plate, replacements, scratches, and various age wear. Probably Rhode Island, ca. 1800. (Referred to as "Governor Winthrop" in old appraisal). W: 36" x D: 20" x H: 43"
