Perfect-2-perfect is having a whole home estate sale at 213 Washington Blvd, Williamsport.  Across from Lycoming College, this sale is slated for two and possibly 3 days beginning NEXT WEEK, Jan 11-12 9am-3pm Thurs, 9am-2pm Fri and Jan 13 9am-noon if necessary.  Permit parking will not be enforced during the days of the sale since the college is still not in session until the following week from winter break.   Please park in areas which are designated for parking and do not block alleys or other rights of way. 

 

The home was owned originally by a gentleman who was a great cabinet builder and maker.  He made furniture and furnishings for the dorms and other areas at Lycoming College back in the mid to late 20th century.  He has a number of items which he made which are for sale such as beautiful inlay Cabinets and dressers, other chests, jewelry chests which used to be sold my James Myers Jewelers, stools, benches, and many tables and shelves throughout the home.  You have to see the care and quality he made these items with. Many of the pieces are signed by him as being “Hill Bilt”. 

 

In other furniture items, we have a vintage upholstered sofa, several upholstered chairs, a queen size bed (Being sold as is for the mattress and box spring), rocking chairs (both adult and children’s), and Adirondack lawn chair, several cabinets available down in the basement, metal shelves also in the basement, nice old green jelly cupboard in the basement. We also have several Cedar Blanket Chests, a Gun Cabinet, Lockable Sentry Fireproof Two Drawer Safe, Several Mirrors both framed and unframed throughout the home.  On the 2nd floor we have some other dressers which are Antique Oak Dressers with mirrors and their original finish and a beautiful depression waterfall style chest for sale too!

 

We have some costume jewelry and a few pieces of finer jewelry which will be available for purchase at checkout. 

 

In household goods we have small appliances, cookware, pots and pans, glasses, swanky swigs, vintage utensils, Silverplate silverware set in a chest, stainless flatware sets, dishes, china sets, Corning Visions, Floor Lamps, Table Lamps, GE Food Processor, Waring Futura 850 Blender, Like New Black and Decker Toaster Oven, Rival Crockpot, Moulinex La Espresso Machine lightly used in original box, Contempra Indoor Grill,  and of course, no sale would be complete without a George Foreman grill and we even got one in the box!

 

In collectible items we have a beautiful brass reverse painted lamp as one of our first photos and you have to see this beauty!  Throughout the home you will see cast iron skillets, Fire-King Pheasant mugs and bowls, Pyrex Nesting Bowls and other Pyrex Bowls, an old vintage mushroom canister set by Sears, Fenton Glassware, Clear Pyrex Cookware and Lasagna Pans, old Christmas Ornaments, a Japan Noel Angel Choir set in Box, Old Antiquarian books, yearbooks, Vintage Double Galvanized Sink/tub set, Wringer Washer, two rotary dial desk phones, Enamelware Chamber Pot with label, Coal Shovel, Tea Sets, Knifes, Machetes, Some coins including Silver Dollar Set, Franklin Mint Sets, Small Toby Mugs, Wooden Toys, Original American Logs, Old Lycoming College Bulletins, Cookbooks, US Navy Silverplate Silverware, Universal Household 24 LB Dial Scale in Green Paint, A very Nice sessions Mantle Clock, A large number of cutting boards, Beer Steins, Corning Cornflower design Casserole dishes, vintage Jeannette Iris Iridescent Vase,  Antique Toaster, a beautiful Coutnry Scene Hand Painted Mail Box, A real “apple” phone, Vintage Mustard and Ketchup Plastic dispensers, Dietzgen German Drafting Tools, John Peters (Williamsport) Lard Can, Lionel O-Gauge Trains, Engines, Accessories including Transformers, switches and more train items, Uranium Glass butter dish and other Uranium glass pieces!  There is also a really nice Dual Airhorn which is Chrome Plated and great for a boat, Truck, or Car!

 

The gentleman who owns the home was a professional photographer and as a result there is lot of Photography studio equipment and lots of Nikon DLSR and SLR cameras and lenses.  Some of the cameras include (but are not limited to) a Nikkormat FT3, Nikon FM2, Nikon F90, Fujica 35 Auto M, (just to name a few)  Lighting/Flash Equipment & controllers, Background Paper,  and much more.  Down in the basement we have a lighted surface Printer’s Table which is working too!

 

Sporting goods include:  Be sure to look at the fishing reels, tackle, bait buckets, minnow traps, sinkers, lures, and more items also out in the garage.   We have lots of ammunition as well as a few holsters.  We also have a elevated urban rebounder trampoline for exercise that is new in the box.  

 

In the way of nautical items we have some antique Galvanized Marine oil lamp covers made by Ward Hendrickson with clear lenses.  We also have a Lobster Trap which can be used as a table with the clear glass overlay we have for the trap.  We also have Sea Fan Coral, Brain Coral, Star Fish, and shells.  We also have a ship’s portal design analog quartz clock. 

 

For the audiophile, there is a great selection of awesome CD’s and record LP albums and collections.  Titles and artists include The Beatles Collection, Elvis Presley, Bruce Springsteen Born in the USA 3 cd Set, a number of 1960’s to 1980s rock n roll classic artists that will blow you away!  This is only small sampling of what you will find at this sale.   If you are into equipment, we have a nice Realistic Receiver/Amplifier, an Akai Cassette Deck, a Vector Cassette Deck, and a Dual Turntable/Phonograph with an extra AT Cartidge included.

 

There is a nice sailboat which is complete with sail, Mast & Rigging, oars, keel board, rudder, anchors, floatation jackets, and more for you to use.  Think of getting away this summer in this nice little sailboat.   It would all fit in the back of a pickup.  

 

We also have a nice two wheel trailer which is able to be titled if you wish to pay for the title transfer. We are selling it for a work trailer for a farm or other personal property use only.    We are selling it sans of any title right now, so it will be up to the buyer to work it out following the sale if they wish to have it titled in the state of Pennsylvania.  

 

In Geriatric Items, we have a small shower chair, walking canes, an aluminum walker,

 

In tools, we have them located both in the garage out back as well as the basement area.  These garden tools include shovels, hand tools, trimmers etc. We also have gas powered and electric powered chain saws,  large reel of garden hoses, snow shovels, garden rakes, lawn rakes, edgers, several Machinist Chests,  a Stanley Router Plane, a Craftsman Router with Table, B&D and Craftsman Circular Hand Saws, Sanders, Craftsman Scroll Saw, Craftsman Radial Arm Saw, Homecraft Band Saw, Grinder, Several Vises, Furniture Clamps, Air Compressor, Heavy Duty ½ Drill, wrenches, pliers, hammers, machinist tools and calipers, Lathe Chisels, Several Shop Vac Vaccums, and more!  

 

On the shelves in the garage, we have metal gas cans, a 5 gal Kero can, vintage kero oil can, cleansers, auto cleaning supplies, Motor Oil, Cabinetry Fasteners, older Brass Hooks, Hinges, and finishing pieces, Funnels and more!

 

Hamai Kerosene Heater like new, a like new (almost) gas grill with rotisserie attachments, used vintage Schwinn 10 speed Varsity bike with Rams head handlebars and fenders,  We also have a wood burning stove with vent ducting out in the garage.

Please note, we are anticipating being very busy at the start of this sale.  We may have to limit the number of shoppers initially allowed in the home at one time due to space limitations and the fact that this home is packed.  We also may choose to open as early as 8:30am if we are ready to help move the crowd along.   Remember, we do accept credit card payments!
