Whole home Moving Sale Jan 8-9 Louisa Street Williamsport

Our next sale is here!  It is a whole home moving sale covering three floors inside a home and a detached garage.   This home is located near the old Stevens Elementary school on Louisa Street in the town’s west-end.  The address is at 1056 Louisa Street and will be held on Thursday,  January 8th 8:30am-3pm and Friday, January 9th 8:30am-2pm.  We only anticipate being open on Saturday if it snows.   This sale is held at a home which has a shared driveway.  We are asking that you do not block this driveway or neighboring driveways either.  There is plenty of parking nearby and you will be able to safely travel the driveway which is up a slight incline.  Entry to the home will be through the back door.   The front door will only be opened to help with furniture removal and this will help to keep the home warm during the sale.  

In this sale, we have some beautiful furniture including several round one tier and two tier scalloped tables with Duncan Phyfe style designs and ball and claw feet.   We also have a very nice corner hutch.  In the living room we have an entertainment stand, a wide upholstered and wood frame parlor style chair, several stands, and an oak finish entertainment stand with door closures.   In the dining room, there is a pine dining room table with 6 chairs.    Throughout both of these rooms we have some nice modern area rugs for sale too!   In bedroom furniture, we have two twin beds, a queen bed with split box springs and a really nice large cannonball style frame set.    We also have several dressers and chests with mirrors.   We also have a corner desk perfect for a child’s room as well as a matching knee hole desk with bookshelf.   Down in the basement we also have outdoor furniture as far as chairs.   There is a smaller cabinet and a nice clothing hamper in the upstairs bathroom along with another cabinet with basket storage in the bathroom too.   We also have older wooden chairs throughout the home as well!   If you are looking for cabin furniture, we have a free sofa and free chair for you to get at this sale.    

To start your New Year’s Resolution, we do have a nice Marcy Home Gym with multiple workout attachments to begin the year as you seek a way to better health and strength.   We also have a number of free weights and dumb bells too.   Upstairs we do have a flexstride exercise stepper than can be used while you are sitting down to get your legs moving if total flexibility is not your goal. 

It terms of household goods, we do have dishes, pots, pans, small appliances, linens including bedding, blankets, and more!

In collectibles, we do have a silver Liberty coin from 1986 when the Statue of Liberty  was being renovated.   We are bringing in a number of Case, Ka-Bar, and Remington knives as well as other names such as Barlow,   We will also have an older military Timex (wind style) watch with a compass on the OD green wristband and pocket watches.  We have some Fenton Opalescent pieces along with some Silvercrest milk-glass pieces too.   There are some crocks and other primitive décor items in this sale and other great décor items throughout the home. 

We also will have electronics such as a stealth Pen recorder with USB hookup for downloading its recordings, an electronic ear and space recording camera with USB cord and many other neat electronics for sale along with a USB cables and chargers.  

In the basement and garage we do have some tools and shop equipment along with a walk-behind mower, two dehumidifiers, workbench grinder, and other gardening tools too!   While the selection is not large, you should be able to find something you can use around the house in either the garage or basement areas.   We also have a nice selection of matching shutters with a Pine Tree Design in the top panel.  They are painted green but capable of being painted any color. 

We do have a little bit in the way of holiday décor and a vintage nativity set for purchase.  There is some fall and Halloween décor as well.  There is also a great selection of whimsical signs!

There is some nice ladies coats and sweaters with name brands including items from QVC.   We may also be bringing in Ladies clothing in sizes large and extra large.   There is some costume jewelry at this sale.  

In the garage we also have some bins just-in-time for putting away your Christmas and holiday decorations.   We also have some old steel school desks in very good condition.   You will find box-lots in this area down the center of the garage.  Outside we do have a nice two person swing perfect for the spring and summer once the weather starts to warm up a little bit.  

We may be adding some additional items to this sale and we want to let you know that we will be open Thursday and Friday as the weather appears to be cooperating with our schedule as we are writing this listing.  If for some reason, it does snow, we will adjust the schedule to Friday and Saturday sale hours if the weather takes a turn for the worse.   We hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and want to wish everyone a Happy New Year!  Get ready for some more great sales in the future which we will be announcing when we have them.
