Whole Home Moving and Downsizing sale at 1621 Oakmont Dr Williamsport Thur 9/17-Fri 9/18

Our next sale is here! It is a moving sale at 1621 Oakmont Drive in Loyalsock. It will be held on Thursday, September 17 from 8:30am-3pm and Friday, September 18 from 8:30am-2pm. Oakmont Drive is located in a development off of Bloomingrove Rd. You can access Oakmont by either driving up Bloomingrove Road and turning right onto Northwood Drive, or enter in the other way by traveling on Freedom road and turning left onto Northwood Drive. Regardless of how you get there, we need everyone to cooperate with the parking requirements of hosting this sale. YOU MUST park on the side of the home only. PLEASE DO NOT block driveways or mailboxes. The left side of the road must be left open so that other traffic from the development may leave their homes and traverse out the development through Oakmont Drive. The road is only about 20’ wide on Oakmont so there is not much room for even the traffic leaving the home to pass through. YOUR COOPERATION with the above parking requirements is a MUST!

Direction to the sale: To get to this sale it is probably easier to use Northwood Drive from Freedom Rd rather than travel up Bloomingrove as the GPS will want to take you.It is the backway into the development and will avoid most of the traffic backup with the sewer replacement currently underway. It will also be easier on your suspension system and tires.Please take Freedom Road just after confusion corner at Grampian, Bloomingrove Rd and Market Street intersection just beyond the bridge at the far end of the Lutheran Church Parking Lot. Follow Freedom road for about 1/2 mile and then turn left on Northwood Drive just after the cemetery with the historical marker. The road is about two houses up from the cemetery.After turning left onto Northwood Drive, proceed to the stop sign at the top of the road and then turn left at the stop sign. Oakmont is off on your left as you drive on Northwood Rd. Please park on the same side of the road as the home since there is limited space for vehicles to come up and down Oakmont Drive during the sale.Hope to see you at this sale!

This sale is from a very nice home in the development which received approval for this sale from the HOA. Normally, this development can not even have yard sales. So lets keep this sale and its parking requirements in everyone’s mind.

This sale is in a very clean home and we are liquidating the remaining property following a move from the home by its owners. There are lots of things still available for purchase at the home and here is a partial listing for your consideration.

To start with, there is a modern 3 cushion sofa for sale at this sale in a light ivory color and very clean. This sofa is located in the living room. In the office at the front of the home, there is a large printer stand in a Dark Walnut finish as well as an oak stereo cabinet and a vintage marble top smoking stand cabinet. There is a beautiful curved oak curio in the other side of the front of the home. Upstairs in the bedrooms, we will have two different beds with two different styles. In the 1st bedroom, there is a French Provincial style full size bed with a matching dresser, two mirrors, and a chest/armoire. In the 2nd bedroom is a rattan style headboard, queen size bed with a matching night stand. There is also a more modern Ebony and Red trim entertainment stand/armoire in this room. There is also a French Provincial style jewelry armoire with side necklace storage available upstairs. Down in the basement there is a set of three cabinets which have wine storage underneath.There are several bookcases and other storage units/cabinets in the basement area as well. In the garage, we do have an older antique student desk mounted on a plywood base. This desk was made in Boston Mass and is for a smaller student in elementary school.

We have lots of household goods and quality cookware that has been well maintained and practically looks new! There is a Cuisinart set of cookware that is rated for induction cooking and, once again, look like it is new. The cookie sheets, muffin tins, and other bakeware all is in excellent condition. In appliances, we have a Ninja Bullet, Ninja Blender and food processor. We also have a 14 qt Cuisinart Food processor, Bella waffle maker, Bella crockpot, Kitchenaid Ultra Power Mixer with attachments, Keurig Coffee Maker, Mackenze Childs Cannisters, stemware, drinking glasses, kitchen utensils including wooden utensils.

There is an extensive selection of Michael Kors, Talbots, Kate Spade, and Vera Bradley handbags and purses available upstairs. We also have a nice selection of ladies clothing with a majority being from Talbots and perfect for that night out or for professional dress attire for working. The sizes are mostly small to medium. There is also a very nice selection of ladies shoes, Michael Kors boots, sneakers (in Size 8 for shoes) costume jewelry and some fine jewelry at this sale!

Down in the basement we also have a very nice selection of Longaberger baskets, holiday décor and several pre-lit Christmas trees.There is also some fall and Halloween décor downstairs in the basement as well. There is also a upright freezer which is working well in the basement area too!

We have a full set of clubs as well as a few bags with assorted clubs with names like Ping and Calloway. There are also other clubs including two swing improvement clubs, club folding carts and an electric cart with Lithium battery. We also have an indoor putting green and other golfing items including shoes.

In vacuums, we have a Bissell Professional Vacuum cleaner and carpet cleaner, a Bissell Green Machine spot cleaner, several electric stick type vacuums including a Dyson and a Hoover stick vacuum. There are several other vacuums and a nice larger Shopvac for tackling tough large jobs and smaller shop vac for cleaning your car and quick cleanups.

In electronics and music, we have a awesome selection of record albums from the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s featuring great rock n’ roll names, pop music, and more. A great way to add to your vinyl collection, these record albums were kept well and are nice a clean. There is a nice selection of CD’s and a few DVD Movies as well as Nintendo Wii Games, Wii Fit (with 7 fitness games), a Nintendo Wii game system, Playstation 2 console (No controllers), a DVD player, several flat panel TV’s, we also have two Bose Wave radios for sale in the home too.

Collectibles include sterling silver plates from the Franklin Mint and Postal Commerative Society stamp sets featuring stamps replicated with 22K gold plate. There is a nice selection of vintage Cabbage Patch dolls and two of them are special porcelain doll Collectible Cabbage Patch dolls. There is a small selection of other porcelain dolls for sale too. We also have some previously mentioned Longaberger Baskets and other great items you will find throughout the home.

In the garage we do have some power tools, hand tools, and gardening tools. There is an awesome Cub Cadet lawn tractor which is being sold with the cart. It only has a 192 hours on it and it is in great running condition and looks new because it was so well taken care of.There is a 4 stroke smaller snow blower that is ready to run this winter and is in equally good condition. We also brought a Poulan walk-behind lawn mower out of storage and restored it to running condition for this sale. There is also a very nice B&D vortex leaf collection and blower system for sale as well as a Ego lithium power trimmer with extra trimmer string spools. There is a Werner folding ladder system, an Igloo plug in cooler with car attachment which is working great and is like new.

In other items we also have a roof luggage container by Thule which is presently configured for a BMW X5, a NordicTrack treadmill with the iFit system and Flex Deck for a comfortable run at any speed up to 10MPH and auto incline using the iFit program. There are several weight benches and plenty of very clean free weights down in the basement too! We will also be bringing a metal bench up from down along the side of the home which has pads as do two outdoor chairs not photographed. There is a pair of bird feeders which are on shepherd hooks with squirrel deterrent cones on the bases of the hooks. In the basement we also have a Hunter Green LP Gas Stove which we will be selling too!

As always, we will have box lot items in the garage along with plenty of household cleaners and maintenance items. We will also have a electric Karchner Power Washer for sale! This sale is scheduled to be Thursday and Friday only. We are not anticipating any Saturday hours for this sale, but if needed we will be open for a few hours on Saturday morning. That will only be if it is necessary and worthwhile to open up for sales. Hope to see you there!
