PICK-UP TIMES:

Monday to Friday 11am to 3pm, five (5) business days after the auction.

Please call (401) 273-1618 in advance so we have your item(s) ready and we can direct you to our loading dock for larger items or furniture.

We can accommodate other times provided you have made arrangements with us five (5) days in advance and your invoice is paid in full.

PACKING & SHIPPING:

We do not offer in-house packing and shipping services. Shipping can be expensive, please consider obtaining estimate(s) prior to bidding. We have provided the following list of shippers as a courtesy, and we will assist you with your third-party shipping needs, however, we assume no liability for any shipper you use or any loss or damage caused in transport or otherwise as a result of shipping.

Providing arrangements have been made within five (5) days after the auction, we will store items for a reasonable time to accommodate your shipper. However, no item will be stored longer than sixty (60) days, after which all item(s) will be deemed abandoned and dispose of by us without compensation to the winning bidder.

Payment
All major credit cards. Wire transfer with wire transfer fee to be paid by the bidder. Invoices in excess of $5000 must be paid by wire transfer.

Autopay
If you have not contacted Vallot Auctioneers to arrange payment within 3 days of the time that invoice is sent, we will charge the credit card you used to register for the auction for the amount of your invoice.

SALES TAX
Online purchases from Vallot Auctioneers may be subject to sales tax. Please see the following for more details. If you are tax-exempt, you can submit your tax-exempt certificate to prevent the collection of tax. Learn more about tax-exemption.
Terms
By bidding at the auction, the buyer agrees to be bound by these Terms & Conditions:

BUYER'S PREMIUM

All lots are subject to a 25% buyer's premium. Credit card processing fees will be added to the buyer's premium. If you wish to pay by COD or wire, please contact us within three (3) days after the auction. Credit cards on file are charged automatically three (3) days after the auction.

PAYMENT

Payment is due within five (5) days from the auction, after which the auctioneer may cancel the sale or bring an action against the purchaser for the bid amount. All bids are in US dollars.

INSPECTION

Additional photographs of any lot are available, and in person and virtual inspection is available.

AUTHENTICITY AND CONDITION

We will not sell an item if we do not believe it to be authentic (as described) and we will not describe an item if we do not believe our description is accurate. We do not, however, warrant anything express or implied. Every lot is sold "as is", "where is" and "without warranty" whether express or implied. Bidders are responsible for determining the accuracy of our description and condition of every lot and making their own determinations as to attribution, period, materials, authenticity, date and value. All items that incorporate electronics, such as audio, lighting, or any item that utilizes electricity should be professionally evaluated prior to use.

NO REFUNDS

All sales are final. We do not give or accept refunds for any reason. Please be sure that you wish to purchase an item before bidding on it. Please inquire about the condition of any item or request additional photographs before bidding. Please anticipate that shipping costs may exceed your winning bid.

AUCTIONEERS DISCRETION

The auctioneer reserves the right to accept or reject any bid or declare any item unsold or to cancel any sale in the auctioneer's sole discretion.

ABANDONED LOTS

Lots purchased and not picked-up or shipped after (60) days shall be deemed abandoned and dispose of by us without compensation to the purchaser.

PHOTOGRAPHS

All images of lots belong to us, they may not be reproduced for any reason. We reserve the right to advertise the result of any item we sell.

RISK OF LOSS

Once the bid is won the risk of loss passes to the winning bidder.

DISPUTES

All disputes shall be resolved in binding arbitration in the State of Rhode Island. In no event shall our liability exceed the amount paid to us by a winning bidder.

AMENDMENTS

We reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions.
