A cozy cottage filled to the brim with treasures, including a wonderful library with many rare and first edition volumes.  Several shelves are devoted to Southern literature with emphasis on South Carolina, especially Edisto, Charleston and Camden.

Of particular interest is the Southern art, which includes works by Elizabeth White, Carew Rice, Jule Clyde Owens, Nancy Ricker Webb, John Muller and others.

Julius (Jule) Clyde Owens (1919-1973) was a low country artist from the Black River Choppee Creek area who painted scenes of the low country as well as seascapes.  A mural of his is on a wall at the Rose Hill Baptist Church in Georgetown, South Carolina.

There's antique country furniture, some of it Southern in origin, and lots of good accessories and kitchen items.

The overflow from the house will be displayed in the potting shed and under tents.

This is a small house so we may have to limit the number of buyers we can accommodate at one time.  Numbers will be distributed at 8am on Saturday.  Please note that this is a two-day sale.
