Huge Historical Charleston Estate Sale on South Battery

This is a living estate sale. He was a doctor at MUSC for many years and his family goes back generations in York county South Carolina. There is a lot of history in this house as well as so many items. He was a very fancy dresser and we have lots of ties and bowties and wonderful wool jackets. He was a huntsman and sportsman and fisherman. We have duck calls fishing poles, gun cases (we do not have any guns)- there are Charleston furniture pieces -as well as many antiques. So many signed pieces that were bought during SEWE.

We have carved ducks, Charleston paintings and prints., rugs, pottery, outdoor iron and cool kitchen items. I will post new pictures daily. It’s been a long week so I’m sure I forgot a lot. Please look at all the photos. It will tell you what we have at the sale. I pre-sale so if there’s something you’re interested in, I will sell it before the day we open. Way to much to photograph. There is more taxidermy than I have ever seen in a sale. Lots of hunting gear, fireplace irons.
