Caring Transitions of Upstate South Carolina introduces the TUGALOO LIQUIDATION INTERNET AUCTION. It is a No Reserves auction. No Reserve is “code” for “great bargains”, and with bids beginning at $1.00 it is always fun. If you’ve never participated in an auction I can tell you that nearly everyone finds the process fun. The TUGALOO INTERNET AUCTION is underway now. It ends February 29th.
The owner was an avid hunter, golfer (do you need golf clubs or golf balls?) and collector of all things natural. There are dozens of pieces of hunter’s L and XL camouflage outer wear, a group of 10 wild animal callers (turkey, deer, duck), dozens of pocket knives and other types of hunter’s knives, loads of hunting technique videos and books, and many assorted hunting items. Speaking of books: there are many hundreds, maybe a thousand books that cover subjects like Southern states history and traditions, agriculture, travel, Christian study, and so much more. There are thousands of golf balls and a hundred or more golf clubs that need a new home. There is a house full of vintage solid wood furniture: china cabinet & hutch, large dining table (2 leaves) and 8 chairs, several dressers with mirrors, chests of drawers, vanities, night stands, lamps and associated furnishings. There’s an old console TV stereo with a functional turntable and an 8 track player (it works too). There are LPs and 8 track tapes. We have some nice groups of antique consumer products in their original packaging, a collection of cigarette lighters, a small group of costume jewelry, and a small group of sterling, a nice 55 piece set of Franciscan “Ivy”, there are vintage postcards and magazines, some WWII ration cards and stamps, and load of other fascinating older artifacts from a better time in our country.
